4 Physiotherapist Dewsbury - Musculoskeletal Service (Locala Community Partnerships CIC) View Vacancy Salary: 21,478 to 27,901 pa Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week Job Type: Fixed term (Until 30 th March 2016) The MSK Service (North) has an opportunity to recruit for a static Band 5 Physiotherapist. The applicant must have some experience of working within a musculoskeletal environment and be able to demonstrate skills in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, pathology and provision of specific treatment programs. Knowledge of relevant outcome measures for common musculoskeletal dysfunction and the appropriate implementation of the bio psychosocial model of care would also be beneficial. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team working to provide the most appropriate pathway of care for patients presenting with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Full time 37.5 hours per week. 4 months from 1 st Dec 2014 Required: Experienced Nurse 1 x post DDH, Band 6 This exciting new posts involve working alongside the A+E team at DDH You will assist the assessment process for patients in A+E, by providing a full community history (from SystmOne, and liaison with colleagues). This will enable a more complete and accurate clinical and social assessment to be carried out, so that timely return home can be arranged, and unnecessary hospital admissions avoided. As well as working with the hospital A+E team, you will also work closely alongside the Hospital Avoidance Team (HAT Kirklees), Rapid Response / Intermediate Care and other community services in order to plan a streamlined discharge. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills when undertaking reception duties and undertake general admin duties and tasks on Locala IT systems in a timely manner. Part of your duties will also include, setting up, allocation and distribution of mobile phones to Locala users and resolve user issues using the OPAS task management system and Issuing ID cards and proximity cards. You will be expected to travel to various bases to register the proximity cards on the wintacs system. Training will be given.
