1 AORN GREATER HOUSTON #4407 PACEMAKER May, 2007 VOLUME 11, ISSUE 7 President s Message IN THE NEWSLETTER President s Message Committee Reports Calendar of Events April Meeting Minutes Spring is here and can be seen all around us. The flowers are blooming and everything seems new and fresh. This is the time for our chapter when we also set about renewing and refreshing our officers. Elections will be held and we ll add new officers to the team. And in June, we ll be saying goodbye to those whose terms are ending. This will also be the time when our incoming President, Veronikia Lee, will be looking to fill her committee chair seats for the next year. If you are interested, please let Veronikia know. I would like to take this opportunity to thank several people who worked tirelessly to get our organization in the spotlight for the Federation of Houston Professional Women website. The FHPW gave us an opportunity to have our organization spotlighted on their website. Trish Rodriguez was instrumental in getting the content put together for the piece. Others who gave their assistance and expertise were Veronikia Lee, Debra Belgard, Joanne Oliver and Stephanie Lackey. If you get a chance please view it at They really did a great job. We really thank you for your time and energy. Speaking of websites, if you haven t seen ours lately, you should take a peek. Debra has done a wonderful job and we can certainly be very proud of it.
