1 TERMS AND CONDITIONS BSN SIJIL SIMPANAN PREMIUM (SSP) HOURLY DRAW CAMPAIGN 1. Campaign Period The BSN SSP Hourly Draw ( Campaign ) is organized by Bank Simpanan Nasional ( BSN ) shall commence from 16 November until 31 December 2015, both dates inclusive ( Campaign Period") unless notified otherwise. 2. Eligibility 2.1. The Campaign is open to all new and/or existing individual Sijil Simpanan Premium ( SSP ) customer aged 12 years and above including non-citizens customer (with permanent address in Malaysia) ( Eligible Customer ) The following entities / individuals SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to participate in this Campaign: (a) Permanent and/or contract employees of BSN and its subsidiaries and/or related companies. (b) SSP certificate belongs to the customer who died before the draw date. (c) Individuals aged below 12 years. 3. Campaign Mechanics 3.1 Eligible Customer may make placement of SSP during the Campaign Period provided that the placement is made before a.m. to be qualified for the hourly draw in the next day. 3.2 Minimum placement of SSP RM10 is required to be eligible to participate in this Campaign. 3.3 The placement of SSP can be made via BSN channels as follows: (a) over any BSN counter (b) Automatic Teller Machine ( ATM )/Cash Deposit Machine ( CDM ) (c) through (BSN official website). (d) Agents Bank (EB) 3.4 Eight (8) lucky winners will be selected everyday (subject to Kuala Lumpur workings days only) throughout the Campaign Period. 3.5 One winner will be announced for every hour starting from a.m. to 5.00 p.m. through BSN official website. 3.6 Winners will be notified through Short Messaging System (SMS) and/or phone call. 2 4. Prizes 4.1. Eligible Customer will stand a chance to win the following prizes: BN/IP/JPPK/11.3 (12) Page 2 of 6

3 4.2. Prizes given under this Campaign are in as is basis and guaranteed by the supplier, subject to the warranty s terms and conditions (T&Cs) by the respective supplier. BN/IP/JPPK/11.3 (12) Page 3 of 6

BSN shall not be responsible or held liable in any manner whatsoever in respect of any loss, damage, delay, tampering, theft or modification of the Prizes Winners shall be responsible to pay any tax, incidental cost and/or other charges relating to any of the Prizes The Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or credit of any kind, in part or in full The determination of the winners is final. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protest will be entertained Winner must abide by the T&Cs imposed by BSN and T&Cs attached to the Prizes (if any). 5. Claim of Prizes 5.1. The prizes must be claimed by winners within the period of one (1) month from the draw date and BSN will not entertain any claim after the said period Winners are deemed to relinquish their rights if they fail to claim their prizes within the specified period Winners are required to facsimile or post their photocopy of Identification Card at the address or number as follows: Tel Num. : Ext / / Fax Num. : Attention to Address Facebook : En. 5 6. General 6.1. Eligible Customer and/or Winners hereby expressly provide consent to BSN, at its discretion, publishing and/or displaying materials and/or any information including but not limited to the names and/or photographs of the Eligible Customer and/or Winners for current and future advertising and promotional purposes in any manner that BSN deem appropriate By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Customer agree: (a) To be bound by the T&Cs of the Campaign, General T&Cs of SSP and/or any other relevant T&Cs that BSN may impose from time to time; and (b) To access BSN s website on regular basis to ensure that the Eligible Customer is up-to-date with any changes or variations made to the T&Cs BSN reserves the right to vary, delete, add or amend any of these T&Cs contained herein, wholly or in part by giving at least a minimum of twenty one (21) calendar days prior notice. BSN may give such notice or communication to Eligible Customer through any modes or methods as BSN deems appropriate including without limitation by posting at BSN s website, by post, by notification in the mass media, by posting the notice in the BSN s branches or by electronic transmission or any other method that BSN think appropriate The T&Cs of This Campaign and General Terms and Conditions of SSP shall be read as an entire agreement. Should there be any discrepancy; the specific T&Cs of this Campaign shall prevail to the extent of such discrepancy In the event of any discrepancy between the T&Cs and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Campaign, the final T&Cs on BSN s Website shall prevail. Any matter with regards to the Campaign which is not covered in these T&Cs will be determined solely by BSN at its discretion BSN at its discretion may withdraw, cancel or suspend the Campaign earlier than the Campaign Period or extend the Campaign beyond the Campaign Period by giving at least a minimum of twenty one (21) calendar days prior notice. 6 6.7. BSN shall not be responsible and/or liable nor shall it accept any form of liability whatsoever nature and howsoever arising or suffered by Eligible Customer resulting directly or indirectly from the Eligible Customer s participation in the Campaign or otherwise. Furthermore, BSN shall not be liable for any default of its obligation under the Campaign due to any force majeure event which include but not limited to act of God, war, riot, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of BSN These T&Cs shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia BN/IP/JPPK/11.3 (12) Page 6 of 6
