1 BEAUMONT HOSPITAL Beaumont Hospital incorporating St. Joseph's Hospital, Raheny is a major teaching hospital providing an important Emergency Medicine Trauma service together with National Regional services in a number of specialties. The hospital is one of the eight designated centres for the development of cancer services in Irel. The hospital employs approximately 3,000 staff has a complement of 820 beds. Cidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Cidate ANP must on the latest date for receiving application for the office: Be on the active register in the Division of the Nursing Midwifery Board of Irel register for which the application is being made or be eligible to register in the Division of Nursing. Midwifery Board of Irel register for which the application is being made AND Have a minimum five years post registration nursing/midwifery experience including a minimum of three years clinical experience in Cardiology Nursing. AND Hold a minimum of a level 9 National Qualifications Authority of Irel major academic award or equivalent post registration qualification relevant to the specialist area of practice. AND Possess a Masters Degree in Nursing/Midwifery (or higher) (Advanced Practice Pathway). The post graduation programme must be in an area of Nursing or an area highly relevant to the area of specialist practice. Educational preparation must include a substantial clinical modular component pertaining to the relevant area of specialist practice OR Be currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Nursing/Midwifery (Advanced Practice Pathway) or be eligible to register to undertake additional level 9 specific modules of a Masters Degree in Nursing/ Midwifery (Advanced Practice Pathway) within an agreed timeframe. The post graduate programme must be in an area of Nursing or Midwifery or an area highly relevant to

A higher diploma or postgraduate qualification in neurocent nursing A recognised management course Informal enquiries to Niamh Shields, Nurse Manager, by telephoning or niamhshields@beaumont.ie Clinical Posts Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist Neurology (a) Cidates for appointment must: (i) Be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU Section 91 cidates they need to provide proof of application for registration with CORU was submitted on or before 31 st March 2017 or (ii) Applicants who satisfy the conditions set out in Section 91 of the Health Social Care Act 2004 (see note 1 below) must submit proof of application for registration with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU. The acceptable proof is correspondence from the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU confirming their application for registration as a Section 91 applicant. (iii) Experience Have 5 years full time (or equivalent years post qualification experience of which 4 years must be consecutive in the required area of specialism Demonstrate a proven record of clinical excellence (iv) Professional Development Practice Cidates must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the required area of specialism, in the form of post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses

5 (v) Cidates must demonstrate achievement in the areas of clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching research Have the requisite knowledge ability (including a high stard of suitability, management, leadership professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience etc. a) Individuals who qualified before the 31 st October 2014 have been engaged in the practice of the profession in the Republic of Irel for a minimum of 2 years fulltime (or an aggregate of 2 years fulltime) between 31 st October th October 2014 must: (i) Be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU or (ii) Hold a qualification in Dietetics recognised by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU, see (iii) Submit to the HSE proof of acknowledgement of application for registration under transition/grparenting arrangements (i.e. section 91 of the Health Social Care Professionals Act, 2005 to 2012) as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU by the date specified by the HSE ( See Note 1) (iv) Have three years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years) post qualification dietetic experience. Or b) Individuals who do not satisfy the conditions set out in a) above must: (i) Be registered as a Dietitian on the Dietitians Register by the Registration Board at CORU or (ii) Submit proof of recognition of their qualification by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU by the closing date for the receipt of applications or Hold a qualification in Dietetics approved by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU, wee (iii) Submit proof to the HSE of their application for registration as a dietitian (under stard arrangements section 38) in the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU before an offer of employment can be made. (iv) Achieve registration as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU prior to commencement of the contract of employment (SEE NOTE 1) (v) Have three years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years ) post qualification dietetic experience

6 c) Have the requisite knowledge ability (including a high stard of suitability professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Note 1: These eligibility criteria will be reviewed in May 2017 when all applicants will be required to be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU. Relevant previous dietetic experience in Care of the Older Person Service or a related area.
