2 HIGHLIGHTS IIM Rohtak takes immense pride in announcing the successful completion of summer placements for the batch with the institute yet again achieving 100% placements. Each student who opted for summer placement was successful in receiving an internship offer through the institute. With a 67% rise in the batch strength, this year saw an unprecedented increase in the number of new recruiters. A whopping 100+ companies (65% increase from last year) visited the campus to make offers in diverse fields. Batch Profile

4 PLACEMENTS AT A GLANCE - DOMAIN WISE Sales & Marketing Sales and Marketing continued to remain the most preferred choice for both students as well as the recruiters, accounting for 49% of the total internship offers. The roles offered were highly diversified spanning across Market Research, B2B/B2C Marketing, Sales, Brand Strategy, Franchising and Advertising. Prominent recruiters in this domain included Dabur, Yes Bank, Tata Steel, Sanofi Genzyme, HPCL, BPCL, Amco Batteries, IndiaMart and ACG Worldwide. Patanjali Ayurved was the highlight of the season, choosing to recruit interns for multiple roles. Many renowned names such as MullenLowe Lintas Group, ABB, VLCC, Yellow Diamond and CybizCorp visited for the first time and offered niche profiles. The Financial sector emerged as the second most sought domain after Marketing, accounting for 18% of the total internship offers. The highest stipend was bagged in this domain. Regular recruiters such as Arcesium, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, Reserve Bank of India, SBI, Thomson Reuters, Indus Valley Partners, Muthoot FinCorp, Future Generali, IDBI Federal, etc. offered wide-ranging profiles based on students interest and experience. Many new names were added to the tally this year such as H&R Block, Synergy Capital, K G Somani & Co among others. Finance Operations IIM Rohtak emerged as the preferred choice in the field of Operations with several automotive, logistics and manufacturing firms making offers to students. Some of the notable names which recruited in this domain include Larsen & Toubro, Shree Cement, Safexpress, Agarwal Packers & Movers, OfBusiness, Polaris and Autokartz. 12% of the batch bagged offers from this domain. Students leveraged their IT and Consulting experience to attract firms such as Cognizant Business Consulting, Wipro and Hitachi Consulting. New recruiters such as Stryker, Luthra Group, KGS Advisors etc. hired interns in large number for niche IT/Analytics and Consulting profiles. IT & Consulting General Management & Strategy This domain accounted for 12% of the total offers made. Prominent recruiters included Essel Group, Luthra Group, United Motors Lohia Two Wheelers, Shyam Group and HealthMir offering roles ranging from Strategic Product Management to Healthcare Consulting.

5 It gives me immense pleasure to share that Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak has successfully concluded Summer Placements for the batch of with 100% placement record which is a testimony to the belief of our recruiters in dynamic, industrious, and ethical students of the institute. The batch size this year increased by 67% over the last year with nearly threefold increase in the number of female students who joined IIM Rohtak. In the last one year, we put in extra effort to create stronger synergy between industry and academia, by organizing and facilitating Management Summits, Leadership lectures series, Industry workshops, Certificate Programmes, Consulting projects, Case writing, etc. These activities helped students in widening their horizon to become future business leaders. Our overall emphasis has been on the all-round growth and development of IIM Rohtak students. Institute witnessed 65% increase in the participation of new companies that made offers in diverse fields. Companies like Patanjali, DE Shaw, Lowe Lintas, Future Group, Media.net are among the 40 new recruiters, who impose faith and interest in the ability of our students. Steadfast recruiters like Reserve Bank of India, ICICI Bank Arcesium, Dabur, Yes bank, L & T, Amazon, Stryker and Cognizant among others who continued to impose faith in the ability of our students. Analytics, Sales & Marketing, and Finance among others were the most sought-after domains. I take this opportunity to thank all the recruiters and stakeholders for their wholehearted support and encouragement. I also congratulate the placement committee who worked round the clock for the successful completion of the entire process. Despite a 67% increase in batch size, all our students received offers that came from a wide range of firms across industries. This bears testimony to the capabilities and skills of our students and the patience and determination shown by them. I thank our regular as well as new recruiters for showing faith in our students. I take this opportunity to thank every stakeholder - particularly the leadership for its active role and the administration for its seamless support who contributed to the efforts of the placement team. This is indeed a noteworthy achievement for IIM Rohtak, since, concomitant with the approximately 67% increase in the batch strength this year we saw an almost equal rise in the percentage of recruiters who visited the campus.
