There won t be a set date since this is not a required hearing. A. Clean Fuels and Vehicle Technology Grant and Loan Program Purpose/Goal of the Grant: The grant funds would provide up to 25 public access electric vehicle charging ports and associated clean fuel refueling equipment. Grant Amount: $200,000 from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Utah Division of Air Quality. Requested by: Department of Public Services, Division of Sustainability & Environment Match Requirement: -0- Staff Recommendation: Close the Public Hearing and Refer to Future Consent Agenda. B. Clean Fuels and Vehicle Technology Grant and Loan Program Purpose/Goal of the Grant: The grant funds would fund the purchase of three electric vehicle Level 2 charging stations dedicated to recharging electric vehicles maintained and operated as part of the City s municipal fleet. Grant Amount: $5,516 from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Utah Division of Air Quality. Salt Lake City Police Department Victim Advocate Program Violence Against Women grant Purpose/Goal of the Grant: The grant funds would provide continuing funding of salary and benefits for a current part time (0.43) Victim Advocate position, as well as partial payment of the use of a cell phone for this position. Grant Amount: $16,040 from the Utah Office for Victims of Crime (formerly Crime Victim Reparations), in conjunction with Utah Crime Victims Legal Clinic, Salt Lake Area Family Justice Center, Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, Holy Cross Ministries, Salt Lake City Prosecutor s Office. Requested by: Salt Lake City Police Department Match Requirement: The match is fulfilled through 126 hours (salary/benefits) from the full time Victim Advocate Coordinator position (cash match). In the event of a grant award, the City will issue a Request for Proposal for qualifying firms to offer competitive bids to include all materials, equipment, delivery, hardware, software, permits, supervision, and labor to install, operate, and maintain 25 public access electric vehicle charging ports via single port and/or dual part stations at various public parks, public gathering spaces, and high volume on-street locations within the city limits. The anticipated terms of the resulting contract is four years with three optional one-year renewals. The Clean Fuels and Vehicle Technology Grant and Loan Program grant would serve as the source of funds for the 25 electric vehicle ports and associated clean fuel refueling equipment.
