April 18, 2016 Dear Friends, The 9 h Regional Bowl-For-Seniors event, hosted by the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016, from 12 4 PM (last game to begin at 3 PM) at the Mountain Run Bowling Center in the Culpeper Town Mall in Culpeper. All profits are used for RRCS Aging Services programs in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock Counties. The programs and the five counties served by RRCS greatly appreciate the more than $13,000 generated from last year s supporters of this bowling event. Nearly 1,000 area seniors participate in one or more of the RRCS Aging Service Programs. That number is steadily increasing. First and foremost, what programs benefit from Bowl-For-Seniors? Adult Day Health Center and In-Home Care Services Five Senior Centers (Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock) Home Delivered Meals Senior Support Coordination/Advocacy Transportation for medical, dental and related appointments Secondly, who supports Bowl-For-Seniors? Businesses and individuals as direct sponsors Bowling teams sponsored by businesses and individuals Bowlers who contribute directly or solicit donations for their team Volunteers and staff who provide services for the event Personally, and as the Committee Chair for Bowl-For-Seniors, I encourage you to participate in this fun and worthwhile event. There will be no charge for bowling or shoe rental but you will need a completed pledge sheet for each of the four members of your team. Bowlers, age 17 and up must have $30.00 in pledges to bowl. 16 and under must have $20.00 in pledges to bowl. Please mark your first or second choices of time preference: 12 NOON 1 PM 2 PM 3 PM Yes, my team requires bumper guards. NOTE: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Please return this form no later than June 13, We will accept registration forms after this date but we might be able to honor your preference of time.
