2 Overview Campus Consortium offers Grant Programs for a variety of solutions, products and services. Campus Consortium Grants are funded by Campus Consortium and its Technology Partners. These Grants are designed to give Institutions with a smaller IT budget a chance to implement new technology services that meet the needs of institutions and their constituents. Campus Consortium is proud to provide the Single Sign-On and Identity Grant to educational institutions interested in implementing a single sign-on and identity solution for use by their students, faculty, and staff that integrates with existing third party applications. If your institution is looking to replace its current single sign-on; eliminate the use of multiple passwords into one "single" password for login; or implement a single sign-on solution for the first time, we recommend applying for this Grant. This Grant offers your institution a chance to financially take on implementing a single sign-on and identity solution with a clear ROI and no hidden costs that typically prevent most single sign-on solutions from being successfully implemented and maintained. SINGLE SIGN-ON AND IDENTITY PRODUCT OVERVIEW "I forgot my username and password!" is one of the most common problems when managing multiple desktop and internet applications. Single Sign-On addresses this problem by enabling users to use one username and password to login into all their websites and enterprise software applications on any devices. Through automation and online self-service, Single Sign-On offers a cost-effective single sign-on and identity solution with an increased number of online services and applications for end-users. Single Sign-On has engineered a comprehensive security and SSO platform, targeted at easing integration with frequently used systems in any industry. ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS OF THE SINGLE SIGN-ON SOLUTION Single sign-on not only improves security and reduces IT help desk traffic, it is a tool that end users have now been adopting ever since the advent of federation via google apps or Facebook. Every institution has a number enterprise applications that are not necessarily tied to active directory or a common password for e.g. library archives, student accounts, on-campus job boards, learning management systems, student , etc. Therefore, single sign-on and identity becomes imperative, so that users don t have to remember multiple user names and passwords. Single Sign-On and Identity is designed to help reduce help desk costs, improve end user satisfaction, boosts productivity, improves compliance and security capabilities and facilitate B2B collaboration GRANT COVERAGE The cumulative grant reward is $91,500 and covers 100 active user licenses and implementation cost for 3 SSO Applets over a period of 5 years.

Applicant demonstrates a commitment to implementing the solution (e.g. letter from president highlighting the problem that the solution solves and why the grant would be helpful in meeting strategic objectives) HOW TO APPLY 1.
