5 Congressional Small Business Contracting Action Over the past several years Congress passed legislation that SBA is still working on: Small Business Jobs Act NDAA 2013 through 2017 These legislations contain a wide range of small business topics, including procurement integrity, goaling, training, and roles and responsibilities. 5

6 Recent Regulatory Change Effecting AbilityOne January 13, 2017 Federal Acquisition Regulations were amended to eliminated the requirement that Contracting Officers seek SBA approval before removing from the 8(a) Program follow-on requirements of products and/or services on the Procurement List SourceAmerica is coordinating with the Small Business Administration and other Federal agencies to ensure effective implementation of this change Federal Acquisition Regulations amendment at section (a) & (b) 6
