1 2018 SEMESTER ONE TE RŪNANGA O NGĀTI MUTUNGA EDUCATION GRANTS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION The closing date for Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga Education Grants is Friday 23 March 2018 at 5.00pm. Applicant must be registered with Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga, and complete this application form. Grants are available to students who are formally enrolled in a New Zealand or International University, Polytechnic, Institute of Technology, Wānanga and Private Training Establishment. All sections of the application must be completed. Incomplete applications will be returned to you. Please provide only copies of documents requested. No part of your application will be returned. If you withdraw from your course prior to receiving funding, you must notify Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga. Failure to do so may result in future applications being declined. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR APPLICATION IS: SUCCESSFUL: You will be notified in writing within six weeks of the closing date. Monies will be paid into your bank account by direct credit. UNSUCCESSFUL: You will be notified in writing within six weeks of the closing date. BACHELOR/UNDERGRADUATE GRANTS Degree: These grants are available to students who are enrolled at an accredited educational provider and studying towards a bachelor/undergraduate degree. Honours Year: These grants are available to students who have completed a bachelor/undergraduate degree, but qualify for and are undertaking their last year of study at Honours level. GRADUATE/POSTGRADUATE GRANTS Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma: These grants are available to students who are enrolled in a graduate diploma or postgraduate diploma. Masters Degree: These grants are available to students who are enrolled in papers and/or a thesis at Masters level. PhD/Doctoral Studies: These grants are available to students who are enrolled in a Doctoral programme such as PhD. Students of other doctoral programmes for example taught or professional programmes at doctoral level are also eligible to apply for grants. 1
