We are a local organization with deep roots in the community for 30 years 3. We have broad expertise on community issues and needs and collect community Vital Signs and in-depth information on local nonprofits 4. We offer personalized services to donors tailored to fit their charitable and financial interests 5. We manage 600 named Funds that help people manage their philanthropy and invest in causes they care about 6. We are a public charity and offer maximum tax advantage with gifts under state & federal law and accept a variety of charitable assets and facilitate complex forms of giving 7. We partner with professional advisors to create effective approaches to charitable giving 8. We build endowments that benefit the community forever and create personal legacies

27 Senior Women - Homelessness Senior women are emerging as a small but critical subset of homelessness. According to the 2016 annual Point-in-Time Count, 545 persons in Collier County are sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation or they were living in temporary shelter. During a ten month period in 2015, 21 senior women contacted Jewish Family & Community Services of Southwest Florida because they were homeless or about to be evicted.
