Winter 2015 Projects MGMT Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (the MAC) market research and recommendations to assist the Museum in its planned change from state supported to self-supporting. This study was requested by the Board President and the Executive Director. 2. Cheney Train Depot plan for relocating and repurposing (continued from previous quarter). 3. Cheney Entertainment Complex business planning for complex which has the potential to increase overall business revenues in Cheney. 4. Farm Incubator business planning continued from previous quarter. 5. River s Wish Animal Rescue strategic and business plan for this existing non-profit rescue organization. 6. Childhood Saved strategic and business plans for this new non-profit with the purpose of providing services to adults who were sexually molested as children. 7. University District Proposed High-Rise market research focused on preferences for residential condos and apartments and for related parking. The client for this study was the developer of the proposed 35 floor building on the corner of Division and Main. Spring 2015 Projects MGMT Cheney Entertainment Complex continue developing business plan for a music concert and drive-in theater combination. This plan is for a local Cheney developer who would like to develop such a complex, adding other attractions later. The project has the additional goal of bringing increased tourism and destination traffic from Spokane. 2. ERP for Cheney Entertainment Complex design for an ERP/MIS system and initial programming. 3. Urban Village Cheney research, conceptualization, and design to take advantage of increased traffic into Cheney with the Urban Village as a desirable destination outing. 4. Incubator Farm continued business planning including development of housing for several farm families, the required infrastructure, and roads. 5. Childhood Saved continued business and event planning for this new non-profit.

4 MGMT Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) project continued from previous quarter, the goal is to secure a survey sample in the range of 1000 respondents. To date we have over 600 completed surveys with the expectation of reaching the goal given an online survey and several news articles urging residents to complete the survey. This effort required a matrix organization approach with the following teams; 5 Geographic Teams north, south, east, west, and Idaho for first 5 weeks of quarter. 5 Functional Teams facilities/operations, HR, finance, marketing, and accounting/mis for next 3 weeks of quarter; these teams providing a benchmark study of other museums in the U.S. and internationally, best practices, etc. 3 Scenario Teams focusing on the top 3 resident wants, the teams are providing analyses of what the MAC will need to change to respond to the community s wants.
