10 NSF News and Information Research.gov Beginning on April 30, 2018, NSF proposers can prepare and submit full, research non-collaborative proposals in Research.gov. Research.gov will run in parallel with FastLane proposal preparation and submission so proposers have the option to prepare and submit full, research non-collaborative proposals in Research.gov or in FastLane beginning April 30, In an effort to acclimate and collect preliminary feedback to this new technology, NSF will hold a previewing of the Research.gov proposal preparation functionality. 13 Conflict of Interest A conflict of interest is a situation in which financial or other personal considerations have the potential to compromise or bias professional judgment and objectivity
