If approved, the City will receive notification from MTA in the Fall of 2015 for a $4,700,000 grant to increase mobility for all modes of travel. spring In February of 2015, Councilmember Richardson sponsored a Council Item to develop a 9th District Space. The 9th District Space will engage empower to build more park green space throughout the district in partnership with the Department of Health Human Services the North Long Beach HEAL zone Initiative. mar The De Forest Wetls Restoration Project will restore 34 acres of wetls to improve water quality, preserve scrub woodl habitat, retain flood control properties, which will provide members with a beautiful recreational green parkway along the lower Los Angeles River. feb mar may City approves top-ranked Development Team. jul 9th District Space completed, approval process begins (s Recreation Commission City Council).
