#TESTOMONIALS Kathy is a diva as a philanthropist and fundraiser. She starts with empathy and understands the motivations of both sides of this indispensable partnership. For those seeking to propel their organizations and causes forward from staff or board roles, this coaching course will be a gold mine of wisdom, skill and connections! Karen Ansara Co-Founder and Chair of NEID Kathy s relationship driven and values first approach resonates with me personally and my desire to further develop a community of shared mission. Having 'classmates' to discuss challenges, learn new perspectives and practice with one another within a safe space is not commonplace or otherwise available. The Fundraising Masterclass offers both and is providing what I need to successfully hone my craft. Shawn Cheung, Founder of Raising the Village Kathy LeMay is a game-changer. Her unique value proposition: she understands the fundamental underpinnings of why people give, and can translate that into specific action items. She always suggests thoughtful, concrete next steps - but also absorbs the client organization's DNA and thinks creatively around it. Kathy is a rare talent who shares her wisdom generously. 6 #UNLOCK THE 5 KEYS TO FUNDRAISING KEY 1: SHIFT HOW YOU SEE YOUR ROLE Webinar 1 You are more than a Fundraiser. You are a Mission-Maker. What are the essential differences between a fundraiser and a mission-maker? What distinguishes the two and why are these distinctions important to your fundraising. Learn how and why world-class fundraisers see themselves as mission-makers and how creating this shift within will help you raise more money than ever before. Webinar 2 What does it look like on a day-to-day basis to be a successful Mission-Maker? Today you will learn and immediately apply 3 things you can do today to transform how donors and philanthropists see you. From time management to donor outreach, these tools will forever change how you fundraise. KEY 2: DEVELOP YOUR SHARED STORY Webinar 3 Do you know your own story? Critical to your success as a fundraiser is of course knowing your organization's purpose, objectives and story. Knowing and sharing your own organizational story and your personal social change legacy changes how you see yourself, how donors see you and your ability to engage a donor in their passion and story. Learn how to map and share your story to optimize success. 4
Webinar 4 Beyond the Pitch Significant gifts are raised by those who know how to uncover and weave a donor s story and passion into the story and the future of your organization they represent. Learn how world class fundraisers go beyond the pitch by engaging a donor s aspirations in organizational mission fulfillment. Webinar 5 Getting Organizational Buy-In You are beginning to see the results of Keys 1 & 2 in action. In this lecture learn how to secure leadership and organizational buy-in towards a healthier and more robust fundraising culture and how to navigate organization resistance and hurdles. KEY 3: BUILD AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS Webinar 6 How to Build Relationships That Translate Into Mission Transforming Gifts Trusted, values-driven relationships are the first one reason donors make significant gifts to organization, even beyond impact and results. How do you build authentic relationships that unleash transformational gifts? 5
Webinar 7 Special Event: Ask the Experts Join Kathy LeMay as she interviews (3) top global social change philanthropists. Learn firsthand what they're looking for in relationship building and which approaches have resulted in not making a gift. Webinar 8 Race, Class and Gender in Major Gifts Fundraising In this class, we examine the inherent power dynamics in major gifts fundraising. This class maps how fundraisers can maintain and hold their power and voice to advance true equality in fundraising. It's no secret that there are power dynamics in fundraising. Our sector is no different than any other sectors. Cohort members are invited to share their experiences and workshop ways to navigate bias and power dynamics to create a more equitable sector. KEY 4: CLARIFY YOUR FUNDING MODEL Webinar 9 What is a Funding Model? Budgets and forecasts are useful tools for program and project implementation, but how does your organization create true sustainability? Learn how to create a funding model that is unique to your organization and your donor constituencies. 6

How then do you integrate the funding model and funding strategy into the overall organizational strategy? Where does it fit in? How do you present it to the organization's leadership to ensure full support? Learn how to integrate the funding model and funding strategy to optimize success. KEY 5: CREATE A TRANSFORMATIONAL INVITATION Webinar 12 Transformational Invitation- The Core Components All your hard work is about to pay off. In this our second to last lecture you will learn the fundaments of a transformational invitation and what separates this kind of invitation from "the ask". You will gain the skills, confidence and approach you need to reach out to your donors and invite them to be part of something that inspires and to go you are ready to create transformational invitations to your donors and future donors. 10 #TUITION AND DATES #Summer Intensive Session 1 June 4th- July 18th (Monday/Wednesdays) #Summer Intensive Session 2 July 10th-August 16th (Tuesday/Thursdays)
#TIPS ON HOW TO GET YOUR MEMBERSHIP FUNDED Are you interested in the Raising Change Fundraising Masterclass and don t have the funds to cover tuition? This is a free Fundraising Masterclass lesson designed to help you get your tuition sponsored: Step 1: Make the Case The first step is making the case for participating in the fundraising master class. Ask yourself: Why do you want to take the fundraising master class Why do you want to take it now, at this point in your fundraising career? With your primary purpose in signing up for the fundraising master class? Create a passionate, heart driven case. People invest in people. In 25 years of social change fundraising philanthropists have said this to me: I fund missions but first I fund the person sitting across the table from me. Step 2: Scan your Orbit Think of a donor or board Member in your network you have a strong connection to. Ask yourself: What motivates and activates this donors giving? Are they interested in growing development at your organization? Do they see the value of strong fundraising leadership? Would they see this as a good investment in you and in the organization long-term success? Step 3: Request a Conversation Send an asking if they d be interested in a conversation about a Fundraising Masterclass that s helping non profit leaders become world class in donor relationship-building and fundraising. Don t invite them to an ask. Invite them to a conversation. Our Summer Intensive classes are filling up quick so be sure to apply today! 9
