The Mission of the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce is the formation of strategic partnerships to support the development and growth of small businesses and provide guidance to potential entrepreneurs in Lea County. Many businesses in the Lea County area have found the value of membership in the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce. The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce realizes that relationship marketing has become one of the key methods to generate and sustain business. Through an outstanding selection of both structured and casual networking events, members could meet; small and Hispanic owned businesses, potential customers, business leaders, professionals, and built relationships to do business with one another. The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce networking gatherings will provide you with business information and opportunities to introduce your business to the ever-growing Hispanic market. Pan Dulce y Café (Sweet Bread & Coffee) gathering for you to get acquainted with other members of the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce. BUSINESS REFERRALS We gladly provide information to walk in traffic, phone conversations, and internet connections and direct link form our web-site. NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICE Notary public services to our members are free of charge. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce has several interest committees in which you may volunteer. This will allow you to become acquainted and involved with our community. Our committees promote opportunities and information on community affairs, education, development and economic growth to enhance our quality of life. Participants in our committee interests find that working on these committees offer additional opportunities to meet other businesses and professional people with similar interests. SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE As a member, you may participate in organizing special events on behalf of the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce. Participants will assist in the preparation and oversee our diverse events held throughout the year. One of our events; Fiestas de Septiembre! is held during the month of September and its purpose is to encourage membership, promote our rich Hispanic culture, traditions, and recognize outstanding Hispanic leaders, businesses, and citizens within our region. USE OF BULK MAIL You will have access to mail your business publications at the reduced bulk mailings.
4 CHAMBER BUSINESS CARD DISPLAY AND INFORMATION RACK As a member, your business publications and/or business cards will be displayed, providing you with the opportunity to promote your business to visitors, as well as other local businesses, and co-members. LISTING ON WEBSITE (hispanochamber.org) Your business will receive complimentary listing on our Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce website. This includes accessibility to link your business website at no cost for the first year. WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS English and Spanish Workshops are conducted throughout the year addressing a variety of business concerns to meet your needs. *COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY* As a community partner, we would recognize your support in all our communications and at the community events held by the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce and Foundation. These events include: Hispano Chamber of Commerce Banquet, Pan Dulce y Cafe networking events, business ribbon cuttings, Fiesta de Salud (Health Fair), Fiestas de Septiembre and Mariachi Christmas. Depending on the event, the advertising encompasses television, radio, , newspapers, program books, social media and it reaches communities all over Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. Over 6,000 people attended Fiestas de Septiembre and over 700 people attended Mariachi Christmas.
