5 NEW ANIMAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE 4-H CLUB 4-H is gearing up for another year of fun. A New Animal and Environmental Science Club invites you to join and share in the fun. Animal Science provides youth with many opportunities to learn about different animals and how to care for them. Projects can cover animal care and feeding, selection and judging, fitting and showing, management and health, and animal reproduction and genetics. Environmental Science provides youth with many exciting opportunities to explore and investigate the natural world. Projects help youth learn about aquatic and marine life, weather and climate, water quality and conservation, insects and spiders, wildlife and forest ecology, and sport fishing and more! With projects and activities youth learn new skills and imagine the fun in developing interests and hobbies with friends in your community. You and your friends can take part in 4-H by joining. 4-H clubs are full of young people having fun with friends and participating in new experiences. Adult volunteers lead the club and the club meets once a month. Make things, go on tours, participate in fun hands-on activities, conduct community service and share what you learn are some of the things you can do in 4-H. Through club activities, youth gain skills in decision-making, communications and cooperation. The New Animal and Environmental Science Club will hold their organizational meeting on April 6, 2015 at 6:00PM and every 2nd Monday at 6:00PM thereafter. The meeting will be held at 253 Livengood Rd., Advance, NC. For more information contact: Melissa Love New Rabbit 4H Club Lots of fun and interesting activities ahead! When: April 28 th and 30 th Time: 4:00PM 7:00PM Where: Extension Office County Activity Day Do you have anything you are particularly interested in and would like to tell us about it?
