Cooper s Couture Committee Having a BLAST at the 2017 event The Cooper s Cause Foundation Golf Tournament will be held this July at Eaglebend. All proceeds from the piggy banks goes to Raelynn s Rock Stars, a program within Cooper s Cause Foundation that gives the siblings of the heart patient a celebration, tailored to the interests and ages of the children in their family. 2

3 These grants are awarded once per year on February 15th. Applications become available for submission from October 15th and are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 15th. Applicants will be notified no later than 30 days after the selection date. Grants are awarded based on the requested material as well as need. Applications will be accepted from applicants within a 75-mile radius of Lawrence, KS and the State of Kansas with priority given to those in Lawrence and Douglas County. We will help as many families as our funds will allow. As our funds grow, so will the number and the amount of help we will be able to give. Ineligible requests such as medical bills that have already been paid, submitting for food, clothing, laundry fees and anything deemed non-medical for your child will not be acceptable criteria to submit for a grant request. The awarded funds will range depending on the number of recipients and need. Go to to apply online, download an application or for more information! 3

6 We are thrilled to announce that Cooper s Cause Foundation was selected as one of three organizations to receive support from the Lawrence St. Patrick s Day Parade Committee! For its entire 30-year history, the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee has dedicated itself to benefiting local children's charities in Lawrence and Douglas County. The Committee has raised over $980,000 for a wide variety of institutions in the area, and it does so as a completely volunteer-driven organization. CCF will be spending a lot of time assisting this great organization to help benefit CHD Families! Thank you to the St. Patrick s Day Parade Committee for your support! 6
