26 Nuclear Safety Research and Education Programme Nuclear Safety Research and Education Programme The programme will build a pool of local scientists and nuclear experts with the knowledge and skills in nuclear science and engineering who can advise the government on nuclear safety and preparatory measures in the event of nuclear-related incidents.

27 Cybersecurity R&D Programme Establishment of a National Cybersecurity R&D programme, involving key agencies MHA, MINDEF, IDA, EDB, NSCS, CSA and NRF The programme will: Cybersecurity Develop R&D expertise in cybersecurity for Singapore; R&D Programme Coordinate and prioritise R&D efforts in cybersecurity across agencies (a Whole-of-Government Approach); and Provide a common platform for R&D collaboration among agencies, academia, research institutes and industry, locally and internationally. 27
