2 Dear Company Representatives, American Academy of Environmental Engineering and Scientists, American Society of Civil Engineers, and Chi Epsilon, the National Honors Society for Civil Engineers, would like to cordially invite your company to our Civil and Environmental Engineering Career and Internship Fair at the University of California, Irvine. AAEES, ASCE, and Chi Epsilon are organizations on the UC Irvine campus dedicated to providing members with academic and professional development opportunities. Therefore, we have joined our efforts to organize the Second Annual Career and Internship Fair for the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Career and Internship fair provides companies the unique opportunity to network with students and alumni, to gain public acknowledgement for supporting UC Irvine s Civil and Environmental Engineering department and affiliated clubs, as well as the opportunity to recruit highly motivated CEE students for full time, part time, or internship positions. Last year, more than 200 Civil and Environmental engineering students stood in line to meet with recruiters from many respected and successful companies from both the public and private sector. This gave the students a unique opportunity to gain valuable networking experience as well as a possible opportunity for professional development. This event will be held at the University of California, Irvine on Tuesday, November 25, Again, this is a great opportunity to engage students! Gold $150: This sponsorship amount places your company s logo on the fliers, and also on the Civil and Environmental Engineering Career and Internship Fair banner that will be used to decorate the room and showcase your company. Platinum $250 or more: This sponsorship amount places your company s logo on the fliers, banner, and on the American Society of Civil Engineers Irvine Student Chapter club shirts. The shirts will be displayed during the Pacific Southwest Conference and advertised by members thereafter. -5-

6 CEE Career and Internship Fair Information Tuesday November 25, 2014 (Print out for your convenience) Fair Schedule 10:00 11:00 AM Check-in/ Set-up 11:00 AM Fair Start Time 12:00-12:30 PM Lunch (Will be delivered to the booth) 3:00 PM Fair End Time Check-In Check-in will start at 10:00 AM be held in front of Pacific Ballroom D in University of California, Irvine s Student Center. An attendant will direct company representative to their booth, where your mailed materials (if any) will be present. Representatives will be responsible for setting up their booth. Directions to the Student Center Parking Structure ADDRESS: Student Center Parking Structure Irvine, CA Your company will receive two complimentary parking spaces in the Student Center Parking Structure. A parking attendant will be present at all times as well as a volunteer that would be able to help carry equipment. Please give the parking attendant your name and company name, and they will give you a parking permit. Please remember to place the parking permit on the dashboard facing up.
