1 2018 TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest Entry Terms and Conditions ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - No product purchase or participation/entry fee is necessary. - Entries must be the original artwork of a child applicant (hereafter referred to as Applicant) in accordance with the following conditions: (a) the age of the Applicant must fall within the category indicated on the entry form and (b) the Applicant must be a legal resident of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the time of entry. - Previously published artworks, artworks that have been entered in any other contest and artworks that infringe any third party rights may not be submitted. To be eligible, artworks must be related to the theme of the contest in which they are submitted. - A winner and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian will be required to certify that the Applicant s submission has not been published previously, has not been entered in any other contest and does not infringe any third party rights. - An applicant may enter as many times as he or she wishes, however, each entry must be mailed in a separate envelope to the local and official distributor (hereafter referred to ALJ). Prizes will be limited to one per Applicant. - Entries must be submitted on paper measuring within 270 mm to 300 mm (11 to 12 inches) by 420 mm to 450 mm (16.5 to 18 inches). This corresponds to either A3 size or tabloid size. Entries must be hand-drawn, colored illustrations with a background and must not be created digitally. Any type of paper is permissible, and any artistic medium (any paint including water paint, color markers, crayons, etc.) may be used to create an entry. - Each submission must be accompanied by an entry form containing the necessary information. Entry forms can be downloaded from our website toyota-dreamcar.com or are available at ALJ Toyota showrooms. The questionnaire that must be submitted with an entry form can also be obtained at the same time. - The required information to be filled in the entry form is outlined below. The agreement clause (11) must include the signature of the Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian. 1- Age category 2- Title of the artwork 3- Concept of Dream Car the Applicant drew 4- Name of the Applicant 5- Age and date of birth of the Applicant 6- Gender of the Applicant 7- Name of parent(s) or legal guardian of the Applicant 8- Postal address 9- Telephone, Mobile number (and Fax number if available) 10- address (if available) 11- Signature of the Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian to indicate their agreement - All applicants must attach the entry form and the questionnaire to their work in an envelope size (A3). - Where both parents are able to exercise parental rights, both parents should sign. If only one of the parents is able to exercise parental rights, the signature of one parent will be accepted. In the case that neither parent is able to sign, the legal guardian should sign. - The Applicants and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian (a) must be eligible to legally enter Japan, (b) should expect to be able to and be willing to travel to Japan according to the schedule specified by Toyota Motor Corporation (hereafter referred to TMC), and (c) must acknowledge that TMC assumes no responsibility for or otherwise guarantees issuance of a visa to travel to Japan. - By submitting an entry, the Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and accept and shall not object or take actions against the final decision by juries whom ALJ and TMC arranged. - Children of employees of TMC, ALJ and dealers are also eligible to participate Toyota Dream Car ArtContest T&C EngV2.indd 1 7/11/17 10:12 AM

2 DEADLINE FOR ENTRY - Entries must be received by January 31, 2018 by one of the methods of submission indicated below. HOW TO ENTER - Entries can be submitted as follows: (1) By mailing the entry to the following P.O.Box: Jeddah (2) Or by submitting the entry directly to one of the following ALJ Toyota showrooms: New Olaya Ghazi Jameel JUDGING - Only submissions that meet the above criteria will be eligible for judging in the Local Contest beginning February 2018, and for the World Contest beginning August The top 3 places in each age category in the Local Contest (in total 9 winners per Local Contest) will be submitted to the World Contest that will take place in April 2018 in Japan. Entries in both the Local Contest and the World Contest will be judged by juries and outside experts arranged by TMC and ALJ from the viewpoint of originality and creativity principally. - In the World Contest, award winners (gold award, silver award, bronze award) and finalists will be selected out of the entries submitted from the various participating countries, and out of the award winners, Jury s Special Award winner will be selected. However, there will be no relationship between the ranking of winning entries in the Local Contest and the ranking of winning entries in the World Contest. - All decisions of the juries are final. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS - Winners of the Local Contest will be announced in March Winners of the World Contest are scheduled to be announced in August Competition results of the Local & the World Contests are scheduled to be announced on the website: toyota-dreamcar.com - TMC requires each winner and the winner s parent(s) or legal guardian to sign a declaration of eligibility/availability and a liability/publicity release for the benefit of the winner. 3 - The beneficiary of the prize shall be the winner himself/herself, and not the parent(s) or legal guardian. The involvement of a winner s parent(s) or legal guardian in the contest, including, without limitation, the prize-winning process, does not constitute nor entitle the parent(s) or legal guardian to any rights or claim against ALJ or TMC. In the event that notification of a prize or the prize itself is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner up. - Prize winners are unable to claim the cash equivalent of the prize trip from ALJ or TMC in the event they are unable to make the trip for any reason. - An applicant will be disqualified and forfeit his/her prize in the event that he/she is found to be in breach of any of the entry rules. - ALJ or TMC are unable to accept any inquiries whatsoever concerning the results of the Local Contest and the World Contest. PRIZES - The first through third place prizes in each category of the Local Contest shall be as follows: The age group between 4 to 7 years old: 1st place prize: Laptop 2nd place prize: 3D Doodler Pen 3rd place prize: Art Supplies (colors, sketch book, easil, books, etc) The age group between 8 to 11 years old: 1st place prize: Wacom Graphic Tablet 2nd place prize: Nikon Camera 3rd place prize: Art Supplies (colors, sketch book, easil, books, etc) The age group between 12 to 15 years old: 1st place prize: 3D Printer 2nd place prize: Huawei Matebook 2in1 3rd place prize: Art Supplies (colors, sketch book, easil, books, etc) - An award ceremony will be conducted for the Local Contest winners from all age categories, where the prizes will be distributed there. The award ceremony date and location will be scheduled by ALJ. - The 1st through the 3rd winners from each age category will be qualified automatically to the World Contest. - Each gold, silver and bronze award winners in each category of the World Contest will win a trip to Japan for the winner and one parent or legal guardian. Included in the prize are round-trip economy class airline tickets to Japan, and travel and accommodation expenses within Japan to be determined by TMC. Winners are responsible for all expenses incurred for traveling to and from the airport in their own countries, and other domestic travel expenses. The airline ticket dates cannot be altered. The trip is scheduled in August Winners will be notified of the schedule by ALJ at a later date. TMC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in case that the advertised prizes become unavailable. As for finalists, prize will be sent. CONDITIONS - ALJ, TMC and their agents shall acquire the right to announce, use, adapt, edit or revise entries in any manner in any and all media and in any country or jurisdiction for commercial or non-commercial use without having to disclose the identity of the Applicant or to pay them any additional compensation Toyota Dream Car ArtContest T&C EngV2.indd 3 7/11/17 10:12 AM

4 - Submission of an entry further constitutes the consent of the Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian to irrevocably assign and transfer to ALJ or TMC all rights, title and interest in the entry, including, without limitation, all patent, design rights and copyright. Entries will not be returned. - Neither ALJ nor TMC assume any liability for entries that are lost, late or damaged during mailing, or for postage-due mail entries. - Please note that winners who advance to the World Contest and their parent(s) or legal guardian must agree to the following conditions: (a) All disputes and differences arising in connection with the World Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tokyo, Japan; (b) They must submit to such exclusive jurisdiction with respect to any such disputes or differences; and (c) The laws of Japan shall exclusively apply to settle any controversy arising from the World Contest, notwithstanding any rules on conflict of laws. PERSONAL INFORMATION - Personal information relating to Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian will be collected and used by ALJ or TMC solely for the purpose of administering both contests. Such personal information may be provided to ALJ and TMC advertising agencies, advisers, promotional agencies and marketing agencies, and may be used for data processing and administrative purposes associated with both contests. - Applicant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian will be expected to agree to the use of pictures and videos taken during their participation in the contest and events associated with the contests, by ALJ and TMC on their websites, brochures and etc Toyota Dream Car ArtContest T&C EngV2.indd 4 7/11/17 10:12 AM
