The problem is never how to get new, innovative thought into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled in archaic furniture. Clean out the corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it. Dee Hock
partnership: 8 partners SE, FI, FR, ES, EE, IE, PL, SK INTERREG IVC project Project timeframe: 2010 Jan 2012 Dec Total budget: 1,5 million

approach & activities Conducting regional mappings Identification and exchange of best practices Performing a joint interregional analysis where similarities, differences, strengths and weaknesses are identified The analysis were transformed into Action plans with policy recommendations The interregional mapping together with experience from the regional mapping and analysis resulted in elaborating the Best Practice Guide
results

mapping Implementation: Varies a lot geographically and between different education levels Quite large implementation at secondary level and in vocational training A big challenge at primary level Bottlenecks Best practicies: 35 best practices identified
joint interregional analysis students: willing to work with their own ideas and creativity in school there is interest to start own business in the future the attitudes and opinions of the students are positive towards entrepreneurship and EE opinion makers: very positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship education majority of opinion makers think that EE should be compulsory at school. Some doubts occurred Poland, Slovakia, Estonia bottle-necks: weakness of the legal framework, lack of guidelines and financial resources different level of awareness and understanding of the content of EE
joint interregional analysis decision makers: few financial resources are allocated and create bottlenecks for the development and implementation of EE lack of a unified picture of when in the education system EE should start major challenge is to find qualified staff Key stakeholders: limited financial resources, lack of time and lack of qualified staff are the most important bottlenecks which influence entrepreneurship education all respondents thought that EE is very important in the education system.
