4 Not sure I can get in? You must apply in order to get a clear answer. We do not make preassessments of applications. Have you counted all your credits? Have you taken extra supplementary courses (or will take them before September)? Have you looked at alternative programmes? You may apply for 3 MSc Programmes in prioritised order at UCPH Slide 4

5 Documentation You are required to upload the following documentation when applying for a MSc programme at SCIENCE: A copy of your academic transcript (bachelor s degree) A copy of your diploma (bachelor s degree) Course descriptions Self-assessment Description of marking scale C.V. (Curriculum Vitae) Proof of English language proficiency A copy of your passport (Transcripts/diplomas for all completed courses/exams from previous unfinished Master s programmes) Slide 5

9 Documentation Diploma: A copy of your Bachelor diploma. If you are yet to receive your diploma, please provide a letter from your university stating the date when the diploma will be issued. 12 Documentation Course descriptions: Course descriptions of courses undertaken in your Bachelor s degree relevant to the programme you are applying for. These can be in the form of photocopies from your university s academic handbook/course lists or print-outs from the university s website. They should describe what was required of you to complete the courses, what was studied and hours of study as well as ECTS credit values. These course descriptions allow us to understand exactly what you have studied in your prior degree, and help us to determine whether you meet the requirements and are eligible for the MSc degree. 15 Documentation Self-assessment: Self-assessment where you list the courses from your Bachelor s degree that cover the specific admission requirements of the programme that you are applying for. Please remember to include already completed courses as well as courses that you will complete up until study start. Slide 15

18 Documentation C.V. (Curriculum Vitae): An updated version of your C.V. (curriculum vitae)/résumé including a chronological overview of your academic history (a photo is not necessary). Slide 18

19 Documentation Proof of English language proficiency (not applicable to native English speakers): 1. Proof that English was the language of instruction in your prior education or 2. Acceptable language test results: The Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, accepts the following tests and scores: IELTS-test with a minimum score of 6.5 TOEFL Tests (Institutional code: 0177): Internet-based TOEFL-test with a minimum score of 83 points Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) or Advanced (CAE) passed at level C1 or C2

22 Documentation Passport: A photocopy of your passport. Should you have more than one passport (citizenship) please copy the passport with which you will use to travel to Denmark. Slide 22

23 Creating your application! Make sure to choose the correct language before you log in to the system. The language can no longer be changed once you have entered the system.! Click here for online help. Slide 23 December 2015

24 Creating your application! Remember to choose the right address. The address you register is the address that will be permanently used to identify you in the system, and to which all the notifications from the system will be sent. The adress you choose can not be changed.! The National ID is supposed to be your national identification number, similar to the Danish CPR number or the British national insurance number. If you do not have such a number, just write your nationality or N/A. Slide 24 December 2015! When you have pressed the create button, a link will be send to your account.

25 Creating your application! Make sure that the sender is set as a trusted address.! Any future messages about your application will be sent in the same way, including requests for additional documentationen with a deadline for reply. (check your spam folder). programme.
