1 Alliance Data 2013 eway Welcome Letter Make a difference your way. LIVE UNITED: 100%. Giving back to the communities in which we live, work and play has always been an integral part of our culture. Across our enterprise, within each Line of Business and at every location, every individual has an opportunity to give back in a way that works best for them. Community involvement is a fundamental element of our culture here at Retail Services, and I am proud of our collective commitment to bettering each of our communities. Throughout our history, and as we have continued to grow, United Way is the one community organization that the Company has rallied behind 100%. Last year, retail-wide, you helped raise over $800,000 during our annual campaign, and with the Company match, we invested more than $1.2 million across the U.S. Each local United Way invests the money you contribute in programs that address the unique needs within that community. And as we kick off our United Way campaign on September 23, there are some common issues we can 100% agree deserve attention: 100% of children deserve a quality education 100% of parents want to provide their family with a safe place to live 100% of families need access to a safe and healthy living environment When you donate to United Way, you can be 100% certain that your investment, will go towards outstanding programs with meaningful and measurable results. And, of course, your dollars go further when you donate through eway the only place where Alliance Data will match 50 cents on every dollar. Please join me in contributing this year. You choose. Time, food, household goods or a monetary contribution. This is one simple way that you can make a difference, together, when we all LIVE UNITED: 100 Melisa

7 PNM 2013 eway Welcome Letter A Message from Ron Talbot When we give to United Way, we see the power of giving, no matter the amount. With just a little change, we can help make big changes for people in our communities. United Way s campaign theme, Change Can Happen. You Can Help, reminds us we have the ability to transform lives through simple actions. As executive sponsor of the PNM Resources United Way campaign for the second year, I ve seen how committed employees across the company are to helping change their communities for the better. Last year, the levels of giving were impressive and impactful, and I know we can surpass that once again. Through my volunteer work with United Way agencies such as Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque, I also have seen how far a few dollars can go in terms of helping families, whether to address an immediate need to put food on the table, or to address a longer-term solution to prevent food insecurity from occurring in the first place. Thank you for supporting those in need in your communities through United Way. Sincerely, Ron Talbot Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
8 Presbyterian Healthcare Services 2013 eway Welcome Letter Thank you for joining our tradition of giving. Last year, Presbyterian employees donated more than $1.5 million to support our community by giving to non-profit organizations, including Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, through United Way. We know that giving is a personal choice and that is why we want you to have the option of how and where to give during this PRESGiving Campaign. Your gifts can make a significant impact in someone's life here in New Mexico helping them to change their story. During this campaign you have three ways you can give: Directly to the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation through United Way To United Way for their initiatives or the Community Fund To any non-profit of your choice through United Way Your donations can make a difference in the lives of others such as helping provide support and resources for the families of sick children or helping to ensure that more young people in our state achieve post high school degrees. We invite you to review the giving options and choose an area that most inspires you. We look forward to the amazing changes we can create together! 10 UNM 2012 eway Welcome Letter Through the United Way of Central New Mexico, UNM's faculty, staff and students have demonstrated unprecedented generosity in support of those most vulnerable in our community. Our theme this year is "Help Change the Story. It can be daunting to think, what can one person do in the face of so much need, but when we work together, we can do so much to change the story. There is nothing more powerful than a caring community working together. Your United Way contributions represent the heart of UNM and a true commitment to our central New Mexico community. United Way s honorary campaign chairs this year are Dean Doug Brown, from the Anderson School of Business; Paul Krebs, Vice President of Athletics; Dean Geraldine Forbes from the School of Architecture and Planning, Dean Nancy Ridenour, from the College of Nursing, and Steve McKernan, Chief Operations Officer of the UNM HSC Health System and Chief Executive Officer of UNM Hospital. With their assistance we have set UNM's goal for this year at $1 million. Last year, nearly 2,000 UNM and UNMH faculty and staff contributed through United Way.
