More on sale in the main offices for $2 if you d like more. Oct. 6: Noon Dismissal Oct. 7: No student attendance-teacher s Institute Oregon Elementary: School starts at 8:08am and ends at 3:11pm: students should arrive no earlier than 7:50am Medical forms/exams are due to the office prior to 10/5 or students will not be allowed to attend school per Illinois State Law Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be at OES on Monday, October 3 rd. Please see attached registration form and send with student on Monday completely filled out. This is free of charge. Fundraiser chocolate boxes are available in the main office if you are in need of extras. Fundraiser will end Tuesday, October 11 th. All money and candy due on this day as well. Oct. 3-5: 4 th graders (Taylor) Earthkeepers Oct. 4: 1 st grade (Boyer, Huels, Merrill) Russell Woods Oct. 5: 3 rd graders to Lowell Park for Outdoor Stewardship Days Oct. 5: 1 st grade (Arends, Peterson) Russell Woods Oct. 5: 6 th grade to Voyageur Canoe Trip Oct. 8: ILMEA Band auditions in Dekalb

2 DLR Junior High: School starts at 7:45am and ends at 2:50pm Oct. 2 nd Band members march in AOP parade. Meet in front of the OHS office area at 12:00 noon. (Leave cases in HS band room and meet in the front lawn) Be sure to wear black pants, black shoes and socks, all white button/collar shirt (long sleeve if cold, short sleeve if hot) and new vests. Oct. 3 rd Art Club meets from 3-4:00pm in the Art room. Students are responsible for their own transportation home. Oct. 4 th Card Club meets from 3-4:30pm in the Art room. Students are responsible for their own transportation home. Oct. 5 th Student Council 7:00 AM in the cafeteria. The shuttle bus will leave at 6:45AM from the bus garage behind OHS Oct. 6 th 11:40 dismissal for DLR only Oct. 8 th ILMEA Student audition at DeKalb The van carrying all I.M.E.A. students that will audition before noon will leave from the OHS south parking lot, by the bus garage, at 7:00 a.m. and will not return to OHS. The Bus carrying all other students (everyone auditioning in the afternoon) will leave from the OHS south parking lot, by the bus garage, at 12:30 and will return from Huntley Middle School p.m. (leaving DeKalb around 4:00 or so?). Anyone not riding the bus/van to DeKalb, from DeKalb, or both please bring me a note before next Saturday (explaining the situation) so that we are not waiting for anybody. Oregon High School: School starts at 8:00am and ends at 2:53pm OHS students are not to go across the street for buses until 3:10 pm. Students can stay in the lawn by the flag pole or in the foyer until that time. NIU college visit for Juniors Oct. 21 st permission slips are due back to the counseling office by September 30 th FAFSA Night is October 13 th from 6-8 pm in the OHS Library. Bring a parent to discuss the specifics of this amazing trip! Seniors interested in applying to Eastern Illinois University may do so without an application fee between and Simply choose the pay later option Mt. Morris Library Presents: Ghost Stories and the Paranormal- A presentation by Author Teri Reid on Monday Oct. 24 th at 6:00pm. Registration is requested Afternoon Movie at the Oregon Library- Wednesday October 26 th seating starts at 2pm, show time is 2:15 pm. Popcorn and bottled water will be served.
