In this session, the Town of Emmitsburg, winners of the 2017 Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award, will review what sustainability is, why it s important, and various sustainability projects Emmitsburg has completed. Attend this session to get ideas on how to implement similar initiatives in your municipality. Many difficulties can be avoided by knowing the answer. This class helps officials and staff at all levels understand the requirements of state law governing requests for public records and suggests best practices for handling those requests.
