10 Outdoor Activities All your winter sporting equipment needs can be fulfilled in the Ski Shop, Located on the lake side of the Main Inn. Equipment is provided free of charge for two hours per day after that late charges will apply. Snow Shoeing - Two scenic trails provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy this fun and easy winter activity. Cross - Country Skiing - Miles of well-groomed trails are available for participants of varying level of skill and fitness. Ice Skating - Our cleared and lighted area is a perfect venue for outdoor skating on this picturesque lake during the day or evening. Weather permitted. Broomball - Play this fun winter sport at your leisure or we will help you organize a group for some low competition play. Tobogganing - Many levels of hills can be found in walking distance. For information about snowmobile rentals, please visit the front desk.
11 Enjoy a ski or go snowshoeing on one of our beautiful nature trails. The Beaver Lake trail will take you through a low-laying hardwood forest typical of Central Ontario, as well as across the rugged terrain that is characteristic of the Northern Canadian Shield.
