We pray that the Spirit of God touches your heart as we worship together. For your convenience, an information card can be found in each hymnal. This card will help you as we proceed through the worship service. The card also explains some of the areas of the church and the worship leaders involved in the service. Should you need any assistance during the worship service, an usher will be happy to help you. Please complete a guest/visitor card found in the pew pocket and drop the card in the offering plate so that we might know of your presence in our Lord s house. The Morrow First United Methodist Summer Sprinklers Bowling League star ts Thursday, May 25, We will bowl for 10 consecutive weeks on Thursday nights beginning at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $9.00 per week, which includes three games and shoe Morrow First UMC rental. If you would like to participate in this fun event, 2017 Weekly Budget Needs: $5, there is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board near the For Sunday, April 30 we collected $13, which is a library. McGarrah Scholarship Winner The Morrow Masonic Lodge has named the 2017 William M. McGarrah Scholarship winner. This is the 25th Anniversary of the scholarship, and Madison McGarrah is the winner! She is the daughter of Billy McGarrah, who grew up in this church, and Paige McGarrah. The scholarship is funded with proceeds from the Bush Hammontree Golf Tournament which many members of this church support. The Scholarship will be awarded at a special ceremony in our Fellowship Hall on June 12 at 7 p.m. Seating for the ceremony is limited, but if you want to attend, please RSVP with Bob Brannon (big.berto@yahoo.com) by June 1. Moses: In the Footsteps of the Reluctant Prophet by Adam Hamilton Retrace the life of Moses from his modest birth and rescue as a baby to the courts of Pharaoh, from herding flocks in Midian to leading his people out of Egypt. Join Adam Hamilton as he travels from Egypt to Mt. Sinai, the Nile, the Red Sea and the wilderness exploring the sites of Moses' life. Using historical information, archaeological data, and biblical text, Hamilton guides us in the footsteps of this reluctant prophet who grew in his relationship with God and by the end of life had successfully fulfilled the role he was given. 7 2017 Mother's Day Gifts to Missions We are once again honoring and/or remembering special women in our lives with a gift to missions in their name. Each gift costs only $1.00 per name. Payment must be included with your mission gift list. To make your gift, just complete the form below, include cash or a check made out to United Methodist Women and place in offering plate.
