2 OVERVIEW Illinois Hockey is a community of 800+ Illinois alumni who still play hockey for the benefit of charity and who continue to elevate the sport of hockey in Illinois. The state of Illinois produces some of the best hockey players in the country both on and off the ice. We make a display of this through our annual Illinois Alumni tournament. The tournament is a showcase of the commitment that Illinois players have to the sport of hockey and a demonstration of how hockey can be used as an enormous force for good. This year's tournament aims to raise $50,000 for children with special needs through the collective effort of 800 players and Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Players.

3 THE CAUSE The Westside Foundation is a 501c3 charity that provides resources to children with developmental disabilities whose families struggle financially. The foundation helps such families get the services, support, and equipment that they need to maximize the quality of life of their children. Whether it be providing communication equipment for nonverbal children, installing wheelchair lifts or ramps for the physically handicapped, or providing financial support for vital but outof-reach healthcare services the Westside Foundation aims to maximize the potential of every child it serves.

5 ARCTIC ICE ARENA - MOUNT PROSPECT ICE ARENA - MB ICE ARENA These ice hockey arenas will be our gracious hosts for the 2018 tournament. Their staff are the key partners of the tournament and are involved with the numerous logistical details that go into ensuring that the event is a success. THANK YOU WESTSIDE CHILDREN'S THERAPY Westside Children's Therapy has been working in the pediatric therapy community for over 25 years to improve the lives of children with disabilities. It operates therapy clinics in the South and West suburbs of Chicago that offer physical occupational speech, feeding, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), and neurofeedback (EEG) therapies. Therapists at Westside Children's Therapy founded the Westside Foundation in 2016 as a way to support families that struggle to access support services and equipment for their children with special needs. ORIGINAL SIX BAR & GRILL The Original Six Bar & Grill of the Arctic Ice Arena will be a popular hangout come tournament weekend. Most players after their games catch up over beers. It is not uncommon for alumni players to close down the bar and have to play with the consequences of those decisions the next morning. 6 2018 CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ALUMNI TEAM JOHN SCOTT TERRY BROADHURST Each participating high school alumni team fundraises to support children in Illinois with special needs.. If they fundraise more than the rest of the teams, they will be selected to face-off against the Chicago Blackhawks alumni team Saturday Night on June 2 at the Hawks' new MB Ice Arena.
