Stewardship... A Way of Life Both widows in today s readings gave all they had to the work of the Lord, one using all her remaining food to fee Elijah and the other offering her two copper coins to the temple treasury. Faithful stewards give all that is asked and trust the Lord to be faithful to His promises. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God s varied grace. 1 Pt. 4:10 ADULT EDUCATION Sunday, 9:45 a.m. 10:45 a.m. Holy Family Room * Nov. 11 th St. Luke Ministry The Extraordinary Minister to the Eucharist Fr. COME TO THE STABLE December 9 th Please mark your calendars for St. Peter s Third Annual Come to the Stable Event to be held on Sunday, December 9 th in the Parish Hall. This event features a massive display of nativity sets and crèches from all over the world, of every shape and size and of many unique materials. There will also be live music, refreshments and a Craft Fair sponsored by our LifeTeen Youth Group and a raffle for a special prize! Come to the Stable has become a tradition at St. Peter the Apostle. It provides a spiritual oasis to reflect on the Christmas story without the stress of the commercial aspects of Christmas. Come to the Stable involves everyone s participation for its spiritual success. Please bring your crèche, display it for others to be spiritually moved by the original Christmas. All crèches are beautiful, none is more beautiful than another. The time and effort to box all the figurines, bring them to the hall and then re-box them is greatly appreciated. Remember the selflessness of the Virgin Mary on the First Christmas when she beheld the Infant God, only a manger for his bed and yet she was spiritually moved simply because Jesus was God-withus. Please invite non-parishioners to this sacred event. Father Thomas Kelly AUBURN vs ALABAMA TICKET RAFFLE St. Peter s Knights of Columbus are once again sponsoring an Alabama/Auburn Ticket Raffle for two tickets to the Iron Bowl!
