2 College Field Trip on Thursday, Sept. 22 ITINERARY 6:00 am Depart BBA from the hill. Be prompt the bus will leave right at 6:00, with or without you! Pack a breakfast and snacks! 9:00 am Attend the NEACAC College Fair at the Tarrant Center, Saint Michael s 10:45 am Tour of UVM and quick lunch at the Davis Student Center (bring $ to purchase) 12:15 pm Tour of Champlain College 1:00 pm Board Bus for return to Manchester 4:00 pm Arrive at BBA Other things to bring: comfortable walking shoes, rain jacket / umbrella, pencil or pen, cell phone, dinner money and Bulldog pride!

3 COLLEGE FAIR ASSIGNMENT WORKSHEET Limited Space Available Bus Seats will be reserved on a first come, first served basis for the students whose assignments are thoroughly completed. Save your search and label it College Fair. 3. Add colleges of interest from your college search to your saved list of Colleges I m Thinking About. 4. Check the attached list of College Fair Participants to see if any of the colleges on your list will be in attendance. 4. Visit the individual websites of these colleges and explore what they have to offer. 5. Go to the About Me section of Naviance. Create a Journal Entry called College Fair. In your Journal entry, list 5 8 college representatives that you plan to meet with at the fair. For EACH college, provide the following; Describe the college briefly (size, location, type, etc.) Explain why are you interested in this college or university. Share the particular programs, majors or other features that appeal to you. Why? Write questions that will you ask the different college representatives. 6. Review the attached list of colleges attending the fair. Circle the ones that are of interest to you. Write your name clearly at the top of the list of college fair list. 7. Go to About Me on Naviance and make sure your Game Plan is complete and accurate. 8. If you need help with this worksheet, come to one of the Flex Block Help Sessions on Thursday, Sept. 8 or Tuesday 8. Sign the space below to indicate that you have completed all of the above steps. Bring this sheet, the college fair list with circled names, and a signed permission from your parents to Mrs. Welsh in the School and College Counseling Office by Sept. 16.
