We will have preserved nature specimens, including mammal skins, antlers, nests, and more! Learn amazing information about the wildlife in Michigan! Join us, Fri., May in the LR. Federal Reserve Bank Tour How would you like to see how our money is printed? We are scheduled for a tour at the Federal Reserve Bank, downtown Detroit, on Wed., May 25. The bus will 12 noon. 3 3 Hand Washing By Brian Rosso Hand-washing is the best way to stay healthy and avoid germs. Below are some tips for washing your hands: Use water that is at least 100 degrees F. Use plenty of soap and make sure to scrub your hands for 10 to 15 seconds. Singing the Happy Birthday song twice to yourself is a good way to time your hand scrubbing. Turn off water faucets with a paper towel. If you have to open the bathroom door upon exit, use a paper towel to open the door, which helps keep your hands clean. Germs can stay alive on our hands for up to three hours. Interesting fact: Right-handed people wash their left hand more thoroughly than their right hand and vice versa. His father was a commercial fisherman. After high school, Terry served in the Army during WWII. He married Alice and they had 2 children. He became a tool & dye maker and Journeyman. They moved to Arizona and he designed the interior of the F-15 jets. They moved back to Port Huron and he owned his own waste removal company! Introduce yourself to this interesting man! Welcome, Terry!! Mary Tracy Mary was born & raised in Detroit. She worked in business for the Jetty Baartmans Jetty was born & raised in the Dutch Indies. She met her husband during the war. He was from the Netherlands. They came to the U.S. after the Korean War and settled in Dearborn. She has 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren!!
