1 CHEQUE DISTRIBUTION WORKERS COMPENSATION BENEFITS WCB cheques normally sent through the mail are temporarily available at one of 16 centres across the province. Please look for your postal code in the list below to find the distribution centre where you can pick up your cheque. You will receive a call when your cheque is available for pick up. If you have a question related to cheque pick up please do not call the distribution centre location. Call the WCB directly, toll-free, at or visit us at wcb.ns.ca. Identification required for benefit recipients - WCB claim number - 1 piece of photo identification, with signature - 1 piece of non-photo identification Note: If the photo identification does not include the mailing address that matches the address on the cheque, the recipient must provide two pieces of mail with the recipient s name and mailing address that appears on the cheque. Identification required for proxy If you are picking up a cheque on behalf of a WCB benefit recipient, you must have: - A completed proxy form (available online at wcb.ns.ca and at the distribution centre).
