Immediate Source of Acquisition The collection was donated to the University Library by the Office of Student Life and Culture Centers (OSLCC). Biographical / Historical The Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers (OSLCC) is a department within the Cal Poly Pomona Division of Student Affairs and is in involved with student activities, cultural centers, multicultural programs and leadership development. The stated mission of the OSLCC is to provide students with intentional learning experiences that promote leadership, empowerment, social justice, and community development. In addition to creating development opportunities for students, the OSLCC works to enhance quality of campus life through co-curricular services and activities. Scope and Contents This collection contains over 150 folders of paper records sent to the OSLCC from various student clubs and organizations. The records include original and amended by-laws and constitutions, lists of officers and advisors, and re-chartering applications. Arrangement The collection is organized into one series: 1. Subject Files. Processing Information The collection was initially processed and cataloged under the title Clubs and Organizations Archive Collection by David M. Baeza in November, 2010 and the finding aid revised in October, The collection underwent further processing in 2017 by Kara Catano under the supervision of Katie Richardson to enhance findability and access. The finding aid was revised in 2017 by Kara Catano and the collection number was changed from UA to 0016 and the collection title changed to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona Office of Student Life and Cultural Center Records.
