The Grapevine features a weekly calendar of events as well as news from the SBA, and announcements from various on campus clubs. Special Election Announcement The SBA Executive Board would like to welcome George Buckham and Tereza Guzman as the new SBA Treasurers, and Kelly Watkins as the new SBA Secretary. ***Do not forget Class Representative elections begin next week*** The election campaign period begins today. Canidates can submit a short blurb, including a picture, for inclusion in the Special Election Edition of the Grapevine. Also, please join the us in the Bannan Loung on Wednesday, August 31 at Noon and 5:00 PM for for the Canidate Forum. Submissions The Grapevine is produced by your SBA Secretary, Kelly Watkins. 8 Student Services Notes Important Dates Sept. 2 Last day for 40% tuition refund Sept. 9 Last day to: * Turn in the Pass/No Pass petition * Receive 20% tuition refund * Turn in the U.S. Law LL.M. Grade Request form, if applicable * Turn in the SAWR Initial Agreement for students starting the SAWR this semester * Turn in the LL.M. Notice of Intent to Complete the Writing Requirement for students starting the writing requirement this semester * Turn in the signed Individual Research form for Students registering for an Individual Research class this semester Oct. 3 Last Day to petition for 2016 or 2017 degree Oct. 7 * Last day to request an administrative exam reschedule * Turn in LL.M. Petition for Language Accommodations, if applicable Health Tip: Do one thing everyday that makes you happy. First Year and Transfer Students! Don t forget to submit your CA Bar registration forms: You have 90 days from the beginning of your study of law to register! August 29, 2016 October 7th is the Exam Reschedule Request Deadline!! Please take the time to review your exam dates and times. October 7th is the LAST day to request a reschedule for an administrative exam conflict. Ask yourself... - do I have 2 exams on the same day? - do I have 2 exams back to back i.e. one at 6 pm and one the next morning at 9:00 am? If the answer to any of these questions is YES, then you have a deadline of FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2016 to request an Administrative Conflict Reschedule. You must complete the reschedule request form on-line. (emery.scu.edu/ students/student-services/forms/) Requests received after this date for Administrative Conflicts will not be approved. Upper Division Students: Please refer to the "Supervised Analytical Writing Requirement" section of the Law Bulletin: for SAWR information!
