5 BENEFITS OF PRE-REGISTRATION You will be notified of your guaranteed dates in early February. If you complete the registration process between May 20-28, 2013 (postmark dates), your attendance at camp is guaranteed, regardless of your final registration numbers, [If you do not register your group by May 29, 2013 (postmark date), you will lose your guaranteed status and will only be registered if space is available.] A $18.00 pre-registration fee is required for each person you are estimating for camp when you pre-register. 100% of this pre-registration fee will be applied to the amount you owe when you register for Super Summer, regardless of the number you ultimately register. If your church decides not to attend Super Summer, notify the Super Summer Office in writing by April 23rd (postmark date) to receive a full refund. (If you fail to do this, you forfeit all pre-registration fees and no refund will be granted.) NEW FOR 2013 Zip Line Over the Lake Disc Golf Course Upgrades to Chapel, Main Lodge and Dorms
6 WEBSTER CONFERENCE CENTER Webster Conference Center has been designed with youth in mind, and we invite you to come and enjoy a week with your church group at Super Summer Housing: All facilities are air-conditioned. All sleeping rooms are dormitory style and furnished with bunk beds. Rooms in the Chapel and Dormitory have bathrooms in the rooms. Rooms in the Main Lodge have a large bathroom on each wing. Recreation Equipment: Tug of War Ropes Sidewalk Hockey Horseshoes Basketball Ping Pong Pop-A-Shot Flag Football Mushball Badminton Volleyball Foosball Bumper Pool Recreational Facilities: 80 Acres of Timber and Streams Low and High Ropes Challenge Course Climbing Tower/Zip Line/Ready to Fly Obstacle Course Basketball/Volleyball Courts (Indoor & Outdoor) Skateboard Park Disc Golf Course Swimming Pool and Lakes Canoes, Paddleboats and Kayak Blob Water Volleyball Target Range B. L. A. S. T. Games B. L. A. S. T. stands for Bringing Leaders and Students Together. When you arrive at Super Summer, you will be assigned to one of four B.L.A.S.T. teams. There will be daily competitions for youth and sponsors. The team colors this year will be orange, blue, lime and purple.
7 SECURE SPONSORS NOW FOR SUPER SUMMER Now is the time to begin recruiting your sponsors. (Many employees make their vacation requests during January.) All sponsors must be 21 years old or older to be eligible to serve as a sponsor. For each gender of students you send to camp, you will need to send sponsors of the same gender. The suggested ratio of sponsors to students is 1 adult for every 8 students. If you send both male and female students, but the number is 8 or less students, you will still need to provide both male and female sponsors. If you are unable to find enough sponsors, please call the Super Summer Office ( ) beginning in May and we will help you find churches to contact to possibly assist you in securing adequate sponsors. Youth cannot attend camp unless they are accompanied by adult sponsors.
8 HOW TO PRE-REGISTER Consider the week or weeks your group might be able to attend Super Summer It is understood you will have a number one preference, but consider other legitimate possibilities as well. Do not put an x on the card. Use the numbers 1-6 to rank the weeks based on your preference. If you attended Super Summer 2012, check the registration list on the next 2 pages of this brochure to verify the number you brought last year. This should help you with your estimate. Indicate the number of youth and adults you anticipate bringing. Please do not over-inflate your estimate. You will not be restricted to this number, but we do need an honest estimate. PRINT all the requested information on the back page of this brochure and secure a church check payable to KNCSB for the required pre-registration deposit of $18.00/ person. (No personal checks.) Mail the form and check to: KNCSB Super Summer 5410 SW 7th St. Topeka, KS All cards must be postmarked by January 31, 2013 to be considered valid pre-registration. THE SOONER YOU RETURN YOUR CARD, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES FOR YOUR PREFERRED WEEK. ALL PRE-REGISTRATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY JANUARY 31, 2013.
