1 Calendar Planning Meeting Guidelines The purpose of the calendar planning meeting is threefold To plan the next academic year To help students and student group coordinate program planning in an effort to co-sponsor and work together To ensure that events, when possible, do not overlap as space can sometimes be limited. Each registered student organization can send a representative or two (more if needed but space is limited so please limit those in attendance). Each organization represented draws a number and that determines the order in which events can be chosen. We ll begin with then go through numerically and then go back through starting with the last number and going to for equity. When it s your organizations turn, select the date and your event. The fraternities and sororities agree to select one uncontested event each semester which means that no other sorority/fraternity can have an event on that uncontested date. This only applies to the fraternities and sororities. Other organizations could program over that time if they so choose. The calendar will remain up on the Student Life website through the remainder of the Spring 0 semester for organizations to review and add or change anything. Over the summer the student life staff will plug all appropriate (open) events onto the University on line calendar. Please send ANY AND ALL changes to the Student Life staff as soon as they are made. All staff and student organizations plan based on this calendar, therefore any changes are imperative!
