Capt. Larry Brudnicki The Breakfast of Champions is always a terrific way to kick off the annual competitions of the American trucking industry s safest drivers, and the law enforcement community s top roadside inspectors from the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This year whether you are competing or not on Thursday set aside August 16, from 7:45 AM 9:15 AM to enjoy breakfast with family, friends, colleagues and supporters, hearing from top industry and regulatory representatives, and this year s Key Note Speaker USCG (Ret.) Capt. Larry Brudnicki. Captain Brudnicki commanded the Coast Guard Ship that performed two dramatic rescues during the worst weather in more than 100 years, which became known as The Perfect Storm and inspired the book that was on the NY Times best-seller list and the blockbuster movie starring George Clooney. During this year s Breakfast of Champions, Capt. Brudnicki will deliver a powerful and inspirational address that relates his legendary experiences on the high seas. Ride with him as he relives the dramatic story of two daring rescue missions during the worst weather in more than 100 years!
