During each session we will provide a variety of activities, including stories, songs, finger plays and a craft. Center for to 2-1/2 years old Mondays, April 23 rd May 21 st 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Our P.I.N.T. Center offers your child a language-enrichment program where we present simple stories, songs, rhymes and finger plays. Each 45- minute session begins with an informal play period, followed by a more formal presentation. The children participate through interactive activities and are introduced to books and stories geared just for their age group. This is also an informal social time for you and your child to meet others, as you introduce them to the library. Franklin Lakes residents may begin to register on Tuesday, April 3 rd. 7 April Computer The Franklin Lakes Library Tumblr Blogging Class Wednesday, April 18 th 11 a.m. 12 p.m. Tumblr is a relatively new blogging platform which allows you to effortlessly share anything. Post text, photos, quotes, links, music, and videos, from your browser, phone, desktop, , or wherever you happen to be. You can customize everything! You will need to have an to sign into to Tumblr. Registration is required and begins for Franklin Lakes residents on March 26th. Out-of-town residents are invited to join our waiting list and will be contacted if space is available. All About Google Thursday, April 19 th 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Come to the Library and learn how to use Google, the most popular search engine on the Internet. This hands-on class will show you how to search the Web, Maps, News, and even Videos! Registration for Franklin Lakes residents begins March 26th. 8 ADULT THE LIBRARY Brushes With Inner Japan with Lorraine Matys Thursday, April 26 7:00 p.m. Take an armchair journey with photographer/journalist Lorraine Matys of the Bergen Record who will share insights and images of Japan. This program will begin in Tokyo, capital of Japan, and follow a southerly route on the island of Honshu to the ancient city of Kyoto, visiting sites of historic, religious, cultural and artistic interest along the way. If you love travel and want to learn more about the culture of new lands and destinations, this is the program for you. All are invited to attend. No registration is required. SUNDAY CONCERT: Cracked Walnuts Vaudeville Duo Sponsored by the Friends of the Library Sunday, April 29 2:00 p.m. Cracked Walnuts presents a unique and lively program featuring music, stories and humor of the stars from 1890's Vaudeville through Prohibition, such as Al Jolson, Fanny Brice and Eddie Cantor. Even though many of these songs were popular at the time of the Titanic's famous voyage, familiar songs like Carolina in the Morning or Shine on Harvest Moon are still hard to resist. Come and sing along with Jan and Jeff Ausfahl as they bring music and song to the library. Seats are given on a first-come first-serve basis with no registration.

9 Cruising 101 Tuesday, April 24 7:00 p.m. This seminar will be offered by Monica Pollack and John Migliori, vacation specialists and cruise planners. Many of the questions people have or should have answered before they go on a cruise will be addressed.
