3 P ARISH LIFE Attention Golfers: Save This Date! The fourth annual Links for LAMB Golf Tournament is being held on Monday May 2, 2016 at the Trophy Club of Atlanta. All proceeds go to support the LAMB Institute and their wonderful programs in Honduras. Cost is $150 per player and covers greens fees, cart fee, driving range, all contests, continental breakfast, hot buffet lunch, and drinks. You can sign up as an individual player or bring a foursome. The May Lunch/Program will be on Tuesday, May 3 in Jeffords Fellowship Hall, starting at 11:30 a.m. for social time, then lunch and program at 12 noon. Reservation deadline is Friday, April 29. Baptisms on May 15 Our next baptisms are scheduled for Pentecost Sunday, May 15. If you or anyone in your family would like to schedule a baptism for that day, please call Sarah McVay at , or fill out the online Baptism request form by clicking into the Worship tab at the top of the church website home page, then click into Baptisms. Fill out the form and click submit. This would need to be done right away. Ballroom Dance Beginner ballroom dance series begins May 9th, at 7 pm in Jeffords Hall. The seven week series runs through June 27 th and will introduce beginner dancers to Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba and Swing. No experience or partner is needed. The advanced classes this session are BR 2, Tango and Cha Cha. Each class lasts one hour and has an additional half hour practice time. Cost for the series is $60 (BR 1 and BR2) $65 (Tango and Cha Cha) per person. Sign up at Roswell.html prior to class or the first night of class. EpiscoPALS (our 4th and 5th graders) on recent outing to the nearby Putt-Putt. 3

7 NEW MEMBER RECEPTION ON MAY 1 On Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 10:15 a.m. 11:00 a.m., during the Rector s Forum, all are invited to join us as we Welcome New Members to Fellowship and Faith - an opportunity for new and established members of St. David s to come together to enrich and grow our feeling of community and share our faith life. It s a time to meet new members, make new friends (even if they re not new members) and renew acquaintances with some we haven t seen for a while! All Adult Sunday School classes have been re-scheduled in hopes that all will attend this reception! This is also a wonderful time to invite a friend to worship a golden opportunity to introduce a friend or co-worker to our family of faith at St. David s. We will gather in Jeffords Hall for coffee and light refreshments at 10:15 a.m. Please come WEAR YOUR NAMETAGS.
