Men s Tennis Saturday Slam Contact: Jason Michael jmichael@ballantyneclub.com Saturday Mornings at 8:30 a.m. Match play in the summer and winter months, for all levels of tennis players. Format is best 2 out of 3 full sets. Jason will send an on Mondays, anyone who would like to participate will respond to the . On Thursday he pairs all the players up for as evenly of a doubles match as he can. Then, you just show up on Saturday morning and play your match! TRUE CRIME CLUB Contact: Cynthia Nadel cynthianadel@gmail.com If you re a mindhunter seeking the thrill of investigating psychopaths, serial killers, historical cases, specific murder cases, unsolved crimes, and just people who kill we invite you to examine the facts with us. Meets once every other month to give everyone the opportunity to thoroughly investigate each new case and information about the old case. The next meeting is Thursday, July 5 at 7 p.m. at the Main Clubhouse with a Field Trip to Escape Room South on Friday, July 6th. The Club has added lines and purchased equipment for four Pickleball courts on Hardcourt # 7. Come join us Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. to learn this fun and exciting game. The Club will have loaner paddles available for those who want to try the game before purchasing their own paddle, and will provide balls. 18 THE TENNIS RACKET Summer is in full swing and so are things on the tennis courts. We have our Summer Jr. Program pumping on all cylinders. We have several events and the Doubles Club Championships scheduled for August. These are just a sampling of the great things that are happening in Tennis here at BCC! We have hired a New Assistant Pro, Susie Brown. If you have not had a chance to meet her, stop by and introduce yourself, or you may her at sbrown@ballantyneclub.com to set up a lesson or a clinic for your group. Ladies Team Tennis is just around the corner, so if you are new to weekday tennis or haven t played before, please contact Jason by August 7th to get on a team for the fall season! A reminder to put all names in your court bookings when you play that way everyone in your group gets credit for playing for our Tennis Rewards program the more entries you get the more chances you have of winning some great prizes each 2 week period. Watch the videos to see if your name was picked! Ladies, look for an from Coach Jason on when the next upcoming Tennis Lunch and Learn will be and also Thirsty Thursday Margarita Nights, a great way to unwind at the end of a hot day! We are very blessed to be the ONLY Club in the whole southern USA that gets their clay courts resurfaced 3 times per year. We will be getting them resurfaced for the 3rd time August 13th-16th and we appreciate your patience during that time.
