3 GAZETTE OCTOBER 1, 2012 PAGE 3 ADMINISTRATION SHOPPING CARTS FOR RESIDENTS USE At the September Residents Council meeting, Bettye Walker suggested that Goodwin House procure some shopping carts for residents use when they return to the building with groceries, packages, and other items that may be difficult to carry to their apartments. We now have six new small commercial shopping carts that have been placed at the following locations: Two carts to the right of the G-1 parking garage entrance One cart in the trash room just inside the Tower resident entrance on the first floor Two carts in the coat closet near the front entrance One cart inside the Solarium. Also, we have eight personal-size shopping carts in the package storage closets behind the Front Desk that are available for this use. So we have fourteen carts in total to assist residents in getting groceries and other packages to their apartments when they return from a shopping trip. Residents are asked to return these carts to their original location after they unload their packages in their apartments, so that the carts are available for use by other residents. The carts should not be retained in residents apartments. Give us a call at , or stop by the Salon any time to learn more. Rates for these services will increase January 2013.
