While you ll find the general schedule in this program for each of the tracks, details on electives, faculty bios, Code Maroon information, and daily updates will be available via the app. WELCOME We re excited to have you with us for the 2018 High School Communications Workshop. Will the story of your school year captivate your audience? It all depends on how you say it through design, writing, photography, mulitmedia and marketing. We re confident the work you do over the next three days will prepare you to say it well! CAMP OFFICE When you re in the dorms, please know that camp counselors are available on each of the floors and that a 24-hour camp office is located in the Commons lobby. During classes, a camp office will also be located in MSC Do not hesitate to share any concerns you have during the workshop. Your safety is our top priority.
3 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION All keys and key cards must be returned to the Balfour camp offices in the Commons Lobby between 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you need to check out early, please contact the Workshop Director. If your key or key card is not returned, there is a $ replacement fee that will be charged to you and your school. Please return them before departing. ADVISER APPRECIATION DINNER Advisers will find information about our Adviser Appreciation Dinner in their registration packets. Students will be with their class instructors on Saturday evening during the adviser dinner, and then advisers will be able to enjoy the Game Extravaganza with their staffs on Sunday afternoon after the final projects have been submitted for judging. COVER ARTIST SESSIONS All yearbook cover artist sessions will take place in L400 (Aggieland Office), located on the lower level of the MSC. If you did not sign up for a time during registration, please visit the camp office (MSC 2402) to do so. PUBLICATION CRITIQUES & MARKETING CONSULTS Many schools pre-registered for a publication critique and/or a marketing consultation. Yearbook critiques will be in the lobby outside of the camp office (MSC 2402), and newspaper critiques will be in MSC 1400 or MSC 2502 as noted on your custom schedule. Marketing consultations will be in MSC 2505 or 2506 per that custom schedule.
