The free event is open to the public. "In the 15th and 16th centuries, Europe saw the spread of one of the most fascinating outbreaks of witchcraft hysteria in history. These early modern people lived in fear of those living among them with ungodly supernatural abilities and hunted them down with religious furor, said Hubbart. This Halloween, we will discuss the events that led to this A&M-Texarkana wraps up Cyber Security Month with predictions for the future of the Internet Texas A&M University-Texarkana is wrapping up its month-long celebration of National Cyber Security Awareness Month in October with information concerning two-step verification, which is also known as two-factor verification. Each week in October, the Information Technology department has provided information and tips on cyber safety and security at work and home. The goal is to help students, faculty, staff and the university community make the most of today s technology safely and securely. Here is a list of the current topics: outbreak of witchcraft accusations and the 'sciences' developed to uncover the witches who plagued the minds and bodies of their neighbors." Hubbart holds a Master of Arts in European History from Texas Tech University and has served as an adjunct professor of history at A&M-Texarkana since Courtney Hubbart PLACE is a faculty-led program designed to create a community of learners comprising A&M-Texarkana students, faculty, staff and the community at large. PLACE chooses an annual theme around which to organize a lecture series and other activities that provide focal points for learning and discussion. This year s theme is Science and Technology.
