It s just two months away, October 20-23, and it won t be the same without you! That path will enrich your future, by including the incredible range of activities, events and academic programs in the enclosed registration guide. Here are our top five reasons to get back to Stanford in October: 1. Classes by brilliant, famous professors on timely topics. 2. Cheering on the Orange Bowl champs at the Homecoming Football game. 3. A party held just for our exemplary class of 56! 4. Being in a room full of people and finding classmates you really want to reconnect with to revive great memories. 5. Reunion must-see: Reviving America s Schools roundtable lead by master interviewer and PBS host Charlie Rose. Whether you attend our scheduled events or choose to simply revisit your favorite spots on campus, there will be plenty of support available to assist you. Class of 56 Tailgate Saturday, October 22 Noon 5:00 p.m. Socialize with friends and family at your Class Tailgate and enjoy an all-you-can eat barbecue meal and hosted bar. Food, drink and mingling will continue for the entire duration of the event. Enjoy the event on the earlier side, or consider exploring other reunion activities and arrive at the tailgate a little later. Included in the Saturday Daily Pass, or á la carte: $38 for SAA members and their guests, $43 for non-members Class of 56 Mini-Reunions Several classmates are hosting Mini-Reunions throughout the weekend. This is your chance to gather with friends from your freshman dorm, overseas campus, fraternity, sports team and more. It s not too late to plan a Mini-Reunion if you would like to coordinate something for your group. Visit your reunion page to see which Mini- Reunions are in the works or request a list so you can coordinate your special group, at classof56. Dress is coat and tie. The party is indoors but bring a wrap in case you decide to mingle outside. 3 registration information Stanford Reunion Homecoming, October 20 23, 2011 Postmark Deadline: October 6, 2011 September 15: Early Bird Deadline Register by this date to save on your registration, and have your name added to the list of those attending online. Please note that prices increase after the September 15 deadline. October 6: Postmark Deadline All mailed forms must be postmarked by October 6 or earlier. After this date, you may register on-site during Reunion Homecoming Weekend at Ford Center. Attention Members: Special Pricing Current members of the Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) and their guests receive special Reunion pricing. SAA members can pick up a free tote bag at Reunion Homecoming (while supplies last). Scholarships can be requested for one class party ticket or up to two tailgate tickets. Download the scholarship application online and return by or fax to the numbers listed on the form.
