2 BPS Foundation to Participate in Omaha Gives! Campaign The Bellevue Public Schools Foundation is proud to be participating in Omaha Gives! A one-day online fundraising event organized by the Omaha Community Foundation and held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from midnight to midnight raising support for nonprofits in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties. It is a community-wide event to show off the area s spirit of giving, raise awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrate the collective effort it takes to make this city great. Mark your calendars because we will need your help! We will be joining nearly 700 local nonprofits to raise money together and compete for bonus dollars, extra bonus dollars and hourly drawings. 10 YOUTH SOCIAL WELL-BEING SERIES: PREVENTION & INTERVENTION THROUGH THEATRE Thursday Mornings in July at the C&A Industries Building California Street, Omaha Educators, counselors, non-profit professionals, parents and all adults who want to help children are invited to join RESPECT at our Summer Series. Choose to attend one, two or all three sessions! Each session will include a presentation of one of RESPECT s educational plays followed by a panel discussion from community experts. After a short break, RESPECT s staff will lead a role-play training on the session s topic allowing participants to problem-solve difficult situations and leave with an array of techniques that will help them to address such problems in real life.
