3 athletic training Welcome to Ursuline College! Listed below are the services which are available to your teams during their visit. Please contact us if you have any further questions. Training Room Location: Down the hallway from the main gym in the Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center Hours of Operation: The training room will be open at least one hour prior to any scheduled contest. Bench Supplies: Water, ice, cups will be provided at all contests. We DO NOT provide showering towels. Traveling without an Athletic Trainer or athletic training student: Please notify us in advance and provide a fully stocked medical kit. Notice: Please be aware that if you are not traveling with an athletic trainer that we are unable to provide restorative treatments to your athletes due to Ohio Licensure Laws. Treatments: We will be happy to assist your athletes with heat, ice and taping. You must provide a written request from an Athletic Trainer or Team Physician if an Athletic Trainer is not traveling with your team and your athletes require use of any other modalities (such as ultrasound or electrical stim). AED Locations: One is located in the concession area of the pavilion between the soccer and softball fields. The other AED is located in the athletic building. Emergency Action Plan: Emergency Notification: - Call 911 (campus phone: 9-911) - Call campus security: Notify Athletic Director Lightening Safety: - In case of severe weather, proper protocols will be discussed prior to the beginning of the contest - Any decision to postpone or cancel event will be announced to the athletes and spectators - We will use Strike Alert, Radar and Flash to Bang method - If necessary, teams will be evacuated to a safe structure - Activity will not resume until at least 30 min. after the last flash of lightening Nearby Hospitals: Hillcrest Hospital UH Ahuja Medical Center Emergency Room 6780 Mayfield Rd Richmond Rd.
