Get to know your neighbor Resident of the month Carol Hockenbrocht Carol is the featured Resident of the Month for May 2018.

She attended school in New Jersey and after graduation attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania earning a Bachelor of Education degree.

They were married on August 4th, 1956 at Immanuel Baptist Church.

David s service in the United States Air Force where he was a fighter pilot. They traveled extensively as a result.

6 Get to know your neighbor Resident of the month Carol Hockenbrocht Carol is the featured Resident of the Month for May Born Joan Carol on November 25, 1934 in Maplewood, New Jersey. She attended school in New Jersey and after graduation attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania earning a Bachelor of Education degree. It was here at Allegheny College, that Carole met her Husband, David Hockenbrocht, who also attended College there. They were married on August 4th, 1956 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Carole was able to teach second grade students at an elementary school in Meadville, Pennsylvania and also in Omaha, Nebraska Their early lives revolved around David s service in the United States Air Force where he was a fighter pilot. They traveled extensively as a result. Carol and Dave have two children, a daughter, Robin and a son, Douglas. They moved to J ackson, Michigan in February of 1978, as Dave accepted the President and CEO position at Sparton Corporation and they have lived in the Jackson area since. Carol Hockenbrocht Featured Resident of the Month Carol later went on to earn her Master s degree from Eastern Michigan University. Carol has been a gardener her whole life and always had an outstanding garden. She is also a wonderful piano player and enjoys playing daily.
