(I) Officer under the Central Government:- (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; (ii) with five years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-3 of Rs with Grade Pay of Rs or equivalent in the (iii) Possessing total ten years experience in administration, establishment and accounts matters (II) (a) Name of Post : Civilian Staff Officer (CSO) (General Central Service Group A, Gazetted, Ministerial) in Pay Band-3, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs No. and place of posting :(18), Mundra, Frazerganj, Mayabunder, Krishnapatnam, New Delhi, Beypore, Daman, Gandhinagar, Minicoy, Androth, Hutbay, Vadinar, Ratnagiri and Karwar. Officers of the Central Government:- (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the Parent cadre/department; or (ii) With three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs.4200) in the parent cadre / department or equivalent; and Possessing three years experience in administration, establishment, account matters. (IV) (a) Name of Post: Senior Design Officer (General Central Service, Group ''A'', Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay as per VIth CPC in PB-3, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400). No.and Place of Posting: (01), New Delhi Officers under the Central Government:- (i) Holding analogous posts, (ii) With 03 years' service in posts in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2 of Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600); (ii) With 05 years' service in posts in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2 of Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) or equivalent. (II) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:- Essential (i) Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognised university or equivalent. (ii) Three years professional experience. Desirable (i) Knowledge of warship design and system design. (ii) Familiarity with Naval armament. (iii) Knowledge of Mercantile Marine Acts and IMCO regulations. (V) (a) Name of Post: Junior Design Officer (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of

No. and Place of Posting: (03), New Delhi, Mumbai Officers under the Central Government:- (i) Holding analogous post; (ii) With three years' service in posts in the scale of Rs /900 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) or equivalent; (II) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:- Essential (i) Degree in Mechanical / Marine /Electrical / Tele- Communication Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent. (ii) Two years professional experience. Desirable (i) (ii) Practical experience in a warship design office. Familiarity with Naval warship machinery and equivalent. (VI) (a) Name of Post: 'Foreman (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Gazatted Non Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600). No. and Place of Posting: (10), Kochi, Vishakhapatnam, Port Blair, Chennai and Surat. From among the officers under the Central Government:- (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; (ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay Rs. 4600) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: - (i) A degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering of recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Two years experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics Trade. (i) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering of a recognized University or Institution or equivalent;

4 (ii) Five years experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics Trade. (VII) (a) Name of Post: Legal Assistant (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600). No.and Place of Posting: (01), New Delhi (I) Officers under Central / State Government /UTs / Autonomous Organisation/Universities/Semi-Govt. organization/ PSUs /Research Institutes:- (i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the Parent cadre/department; (ii) With three years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs.4200) or equivalent in the parent cadre / department ; (II) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:- (i) Degree in Law from a recognised university or equivalent. (ii) Two years experience in legal work including service matters relating to litigation, disciplinary cases, court cases etc. (VIII) (a) Name of Post: ' Foreman of Stores' (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Non-Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-2, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200). No.and Place of Posting: (27), Chennai, Pondicherry, Kakinada, Krishnapattnam, Karaikal, Nizamapattnam, Mundra, Frazerganj, Mayabunder, Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Beypore, Pipavav, Goa, Port Blair, New Delhi, Karwar, Ratnagiri, Vadinar, Gopalpur, Minicoy, Androth and Hutbay. From amongst Officers under the Central Government:- (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) With eight year regular service in the pay scale of Rs (revised pay in PB-1, Rs with Grade Pay of Rs.2400) in the Store Keeping cadre. 2. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation/Department of the central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The officers selected will be governed by instructions contained in DOP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17 th June, 2010 as amended from time to time. The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. 3. Applications in the enclosed proforma alongwith the complete and upto-date ACR/APAR dossiers (or attested photocopies of the

5 ACRs/APAR for the last 5 years) in respect of the officers who could be spared in the event of selection may be sent to Directorate of Personnel,{(SCSO,(CP)} Coast Guard Headquarters, National Stadium Complex, New Delhi within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the last date or without the ACRs/APAR as stated above or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. It may also be confirmed that in the event of selection, the officers concerned will be relieved of their duties. 5.
