The Treasurer s report for the first six months of the year is included in the newsletter. It was decided to have the trees in and around the playground trimmed. The cost of this will be $ Our next OWLS lunch will be at Coyote s on July 20. The August 25 th OWLS lunch will be at the Rio Grande and then we will visit the Greeley History Museum for a program on Rattlesnake Kate. We have decided to accept a bid of $1, to add concrete curbing around the new trees in front of the house and a pad of concrete on the east outside of the sanctuary to keep water away from the building. There was discussion regarding the purchase of a new computer for the office. This has been tabled until more information can be gathered. The Constitution Committee will finish up their review of the Bylaws on July 22. New Constitution, mission statement, and bylaws will be introduced to the council in August. It was decided to invite the Colorado Horse Therapy organization to do a presentation during a worship service soon. Council has decided we will attempt to have a 10:00 a.m. Christmas Day Service since it falls on a Sunday this year. Support Our Children, Strengthen Our Community School Supply Drive Faith Lutheran Church will be a drop off location for school supplies: Backpacks. Crayons. Pencils. Glue. Notebooks. Erasers. Scissors. Markers. and Colored Pencils (NO ROSE ART PRODUCTS PLEASE) Last year, Emily Wiedeman s office distributed 123 backpacks, filled with supplies, to students in Eaton s four elementary schools. Vacation Bible School Thursday Night Social Faith Lutheran will be highlighting the need for: Colored Pencils, 3 Ring Binders, and 2 Pocket/Prong Folders.
